MYOS Canine Muscle Formula - All-Natural Muscle Building Supplement - Helps Reduce Muscle Loss in Aging Dogs and Improve Recovery from Injury or Surgery

I bought this for my senior dog who had sudden weight loss. We could not figure out what had drastically changed. After reading some reviews I decided she is well worth the expense. I started her on this product mixed in with homemade chicken and brown rice. She loves the stuff. It took a little time for her to bounce back and had us worried but, after about 2 months we saw a difference. We weighed her every month at the vet and she slowly got back to a healthy weight. She has been on myos for about 5-6 months now and she looks great. She loves the taste and almost demands the stuff. With a combination of this product and some others I found here on Amazon ( camallena oil) I really love how much healthier she looks and feels. She gets around better than before and is just overall much happier. I really think the kibble we were giving her had an ingredient change and it really made her sick. You really have to be observant of what these dog food companies do. Such a shame that better care is not demanded in quality control. At any rate if your pup needs to put some weight back on, give this stuff a try. It worked for me but, you need to be patient and give it time to work. I keep mine in the fridge and it stays fresh for the whole month. This is a win/win for our girl.

My multi was diagnosed and had to have a total back knee repair. The surgeon recommended I place my dog in a tub of water for passive exercise. I have a holistic vet (bc of Cushings disease), she recommended myosin. She told me to build up the dose for my dog over a week and give him this dose daily. No passive exercise and my multi is like a puppy. I do not let him jump off my "High: bed. I have recommended this to many friends. It is amazing and you will not be sorry you bought it. Remarkable improvement in the muscle tone of my dog.

This product is amazing. My dog has Cushings and she could bearly walk before giving her this product. Within a couple weeks I noticed a difference. Now about a month and a half she has shown huge improvement!

After my 11 yr old pug slipped a disc and could barely use her back legs, she was put on kennel rest with no steps or jumping. Only going outside on a leash to do her business. Out of fear of her muscles atrophying, my vet recommended Myos. She’s been on it for over two months now and her strength and mobility have improved. She also takes muscles relaxers. I think the combination of rest, meds and Myos have helped and she has had no adverse reactions to it. It is expensive, but my girl is worth every penny. I do recommend trying it.

Highly recommend this. Gave my dog muscle and strength in her later years and she looked and acted way younger than her years. She was able to jump on couch and kept her agility.

My vet recommended this as my 11.5 year old doodle was getting weaker in the back legs and the one leg would shake at times. I tried this and boy after about 2 months there is a huge difference. I am also giving it to my other 11 year old girl. Her back leg no longer shakes. There is a noticeable difference in her walks and play time. Both girls want to run and play in the morning before eating breakfast. They tear around the back yard chasing each other. I highly recommend this to anyone with an aging dog as it does build muscle. Give it about 2 months to see a difference, and give it daily as directed. I heat up broth and stir it in with their probiotics and this supplement and pour over their food. It must taste good as they eat it with no problem.

Been giving my 12 lb terrier mix a scoop of this with his food for a couple months now and haven’t noticed any noticeable improvement in his back legs, but there haven’t been any down sides to him taking it so far. No diarrhea, no gas, no vomiting, etc. He seems to enjoy the taste so I don’t see any immediate reason to stop. I’m going to give it another few months before deciding if it’s worth continuing with, and I will update this review when the time comes. I will say I think it’s unnecessarily pricey and definitely wouldn’t be worth continuing to invest in if we don’t start to see progress in the near future. One big qualm I have about it is the bag and the scooper - very difficult to reseal the bag without the scooper handle getting in the way. I never get an airtight seal on it, which makes me worry about the introduction of moisture and bacteria. Wish the container was designed better and that the scoop was more practical as well. Other than that, no problems so far.

My 14.5y.o has osteoarthrosis and whilst he takes a range of joint care supplements, because his exercise is now not as extensive as it once was - his leg muscles aren't as strong these days. A month of being given two scoops of Myos daily, easily mixed in with his food, I can certainly see the benefit and will continue to administer it. It is a little costly due to being imported to the UK, but for us worth it.

Our dog has muscle wasting due to steroids for an autoimmune disease, she couldn’t handle stairs, jump into the car, get on the bed and she was looking scrawny in her back end. This was recommended by our vet and what an amazing turn around! Our beautiful old girl now has a little meat on her bones, strength is much better and poops are the best they’ve been her whole life! This product is like magic. Combined with exercise, the muscle mass growth is very fast.

Do not usually rate supplements but I’ve got to admit my 14 year old springador has certainly perked up on his woofie walks and the doggy physio has noticed improved muscle around his legs.
