Great flavor and great price for the pack. These beans will give a great taste of Mexican pinto beans for a wonderful side dish.

These packets are packets of deliciousness that my table has need to break up the flavor rut I have been in lately. The variety pack is great and allows for trying more flavors so I know which ones to buy individually. The good news is that they are all amazing so I will be buying the variety pack from now on. Do not be afraid to try foods from places new to you. It will really open your mind to new and exciting flavors that you might otherwise not know existed. The prices might seem high but realize to serving size and that you are supporting a small low production business. A plus is that you won't have ingredients listed that look like some chemical you don't want. This is good for you ingredients. The Cuban Black Beans are my favorite but they are all top-notch. I bought these for a family member as a quick, nutritious meal when he was too tired to cook. He's quite picky, but his verdict on all three kinds in the variety pack was a big thumbs up. He said they were all high-quality and delicious, and he really appreciated the convenience and versatility. So, the product and the packaging are definitely 5-stars, but a few points off because of the cost. I wish they were a tad bit more affordable. That said, I've already bought more.

These were a pleasant surprise and way better than I’ve ever been able to make myself! Beans were firm but creamy, just enough spice and can cook in the package… perfect for me! Thanks y’all!

I was born 1960 in Havana, to Cuban Parents, with Cuban Grandparents on both sides, I also have an abundance of extended family (some still in Cuba). Never, not even once, did I ever experience Cayenne as an ingredient within any Cuban dish. Authentic Cuban Cuisine is not, I repeat, NOT spicy hot. It is very flavorful with using ingredients such as: garlic, cumin, oregano, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and cilantro. These ingredients are used in virtually all savory Cuban cooking. Vegetables, Grains, and Legumes are also a staples, such as: olive oil, onion, bell peppers, tomatoes, beans, and rice. With all THAT being said; this product is not bad, but it certainly is not Cuban. I'm not sure what category to call it, but passing this off as Cuban is very misleading.

These beans are easy to fix. Microwave a few minutes in package. These beans are more than beans in a can. These have been prepared with ingredients and cooked like they came out of a kitchen. Mexican food dish. Taste great. Will buy these regularly.

I love these beans on tostadas or tacos, as an omelette filler or even as a dip. I’ve also used them as a chili starter. They are a must have item in my cupboard at all times.

They are good with a little cheese melted and some naan bread to dip....
