These worked perfect for me and saved a lot of time searching for IEC power cords with the right angle connector. Would recommend these.

Really helps those situations where you need your power cable to go down the unit instead of taking up a few extra inches away from the wall.

It works, but doesn't really reduce how much the plug sticks out all that much.
It's an OK 90° adapter for computer/monitor power, but it doesn't really save all that much space vs a normal plug with the wire bent. Compared to the plug that came with my computer case that I was attempting to replace, it sticks out significantly more and doesn't fit in my SFF PC case. Unless you have a really big plug that sticks way out, or you have lots of room and just need the redirect, this is maybe not all that helpful.

Using it on a Boss guitar amplifier
Using this on a guitar amplifier, this way my power cable does not stick out and I can put a cover on my guitar amp easily. Also it helps in tight spaces. I have all guitar cables with 90 degree connectors behind the amp for effects loop and foot switches. So along with these I can really put the solid state amp right next to a wall to play at low volumes in confined space. My issue was space for the amplifier and I did not intend to use this on a TV. The device has good length when inserting into the socket, this means it should work well for TVs also. Be aware while ordering, there is a product that is angled 90 degree UPWARDS also. THIS ONE IS is angled 90 degree DOWNWARDS. Great, simple but very useful product.
