Great for whiskey infusing!
I tried these out because I did not want to invest in a $80 oak cask barrel that could leak. I broke them in half (wear gloves!) and placed them in different mason jars in varying amounts (1, 2 or 3) and added my favorite cheap whisky (Rebel Yell) using a funnel. Within a few days, a noticeable color was apparent. After only 6-8 days, the flavor was amazing! I have reused these 4-5 times and they lose a little potency each time, but still work better than the ones I have refired with a torch.

Amazing Flavor!!!
I used this product with some Evan Williams and might I say it is absolutely amazing!!! The bite and chest burn it usually gives was no longer there. It added a mild flavor that is just simply relaxing after a long day at work. I shared with my coworkers and they said that this process is well worth it and it made the Burbon taste like the top shelf stuff they get. Will definitely buy a million times again!!! Great stuff here.

Expensive but good
Didn't last much. Imparted oak flavor though.

Great product
I tired these American oak spirals from seeing a ticktok video about turning cheap bourbon into high end bourbon by taking five spirals and letting them ferment for 4 weeks. I just opened one of the two mason jars that have been fermenting and I have to say that I have never enjoyed Jim Beam more than I do now. I took one shot and knew right away that I will continue to buy this product. Best old fashioneds I have made in a while.

Oak Infusion Spirals, You've got to try them.
I purchased these (The Barrel Mill) oak spirals to flavor a couple bourbons. I used Ball jars and a portion of the spiral. I've got a few more weeks to go before give each a try. Grape and Granary were prompt and a pleasure to do business with. Without a doubt I will definitely purchase thru them again.

Whiskey Lovers
So I went out and bought a 15 dollar bottle of whiskey and put the whiskey into mason jars and broke chunks of this off and put them inside I left the mason jars with whiskey alone for about two weeks and it removed all the bite out of the whiskey. Super smooth and added a little bit of flavor it’s! I will continue to buy cheap whiskey and use this method of aging my whiskey to not be so strong going down. Definitely recommend.
