DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer Moisturizing Serum, 1.7 Fl Oz

I should probably start my review by saying, for those of you ladies wanting to know about the effectiveness of the Wrinkle Resist portion of this product, I will not be addressing that as I'm in my early 30s and don't have wrinkles quite yet. Now to the part I will be reviewing... I am always looking for something to help make the large pores on (and around) my nose look less noticeable. I already use DDF products, my favorite being the Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew (w/out SPF, as my skin is always seems to break out in a rash when I use moisturizers with SPF built in). So, I thought what can it hurt to take a chance on this DDF item, too, right? Well, let me say that the serum is incredible! My nose has never looked better. I put this on right after my moisturizer, and the pores literally disappear. I had my Mom look at my face - sans makeup - after applying this serum, and even she was amazed at how great my skin looked! This serum smells great, is not heavy or greasy, and is really smooth (almost powdery) once it is applied to the skin. It doesn't feel like you're loading your skin up with gunk. I may need to stock up on a few bottles, just in case the good doctor discontinues it for some reason. I sure hope not, though! And, the price on Amazon is a screaming deal, as compared to buying it from Ulta or direct from the DDF website.

Some people call products a "holy grail". I never understood how a product could be so good, to be called that, until I used this product. I purchased this product particularly for my deep well humongous pores :) I think that most people don't like shiny areas on their faces, but when you have pores, to me, shiny areas are grand. My face is smoother, and my large pores appeared to have taken a break. I found this product at Dermstore, where it is MUCH MORE expensive, so in searching for a lower price, and reviews, I found it here. I've been using this product for a month, but after the first few days I noticed a change in my complexion. I am just about ready to order another one (I have rarely reordered products). Do keep in mind that your skin regenerates every 60 days, so if you're not happy with a product, but you have faith in it, wait it out. I have also noticed a decrease in my forehead and laugh line wrinkles, BUT I cannot attribute that this product has solely reduced my wrinkles due to the other products I am using from "The Ordinary". I like this moisturizer, it provides moisture without being too greasy. I would definitely buy this again when it runs out. I really like the container-I can see how much is left in the bottle.

I too discovered this product through Birchbox. I was really pleased with the results I saw when I added this to my routine. (Full disclosure, I also use DDF cleanser and glycolic toner as well, and have for about a year) I like how clean this serum feels. However, when I went online to buy it and saw the $85 price tag, I wavered. I actually liked the product enough that I put it in my shopping bag and then it hit me to check around online first to see if I could find a coupon or a better deal. And then I did! I like this product because it absorbs right into my skin AND does not make my face look greasy later in the day. My pores do appear smaller and my skin feels softer. I know another reviewer mentioned breaking out after using this and I will say, if you are not using any other DDF products, you may see this at first too. I had the same issue when I first started using their other products. I'm not sure the science behind it, but it was almost as if the product brought out all the imperfections at once, then cleared everything up. I earned some Amazon credits recently and I am coming back to buy another one to put away while I have the "money".

The only reason I gave this product three stars is because when I opened the box and went to use the product, it looked as if it had been pumped and the cream was oozing a little from the top. I didn't have time to replace it, as I was going out of town, so I kept it (because this product really does improve your skin and minimize your pores over time). Nevertheless, I hate to think that I lost a days worth of product because of packaging or tampering or pressure from travel or the heat? I'm not sure why it was leaking but it would have been nice not to have to clean off a new product!

First, if you are already familiar with this product, then you already know that you can't beat this price!! It is almost twice the price elsewhere. Second, it is a great product. I was first introduced to it through Birchbox and have been hooked ever since. I was hesitant the first time that I used it because I have sensitive skin and was not sure how it would react - I have not had any problems and I've been using it daily for about 3 weeks now. It has a nice smooth texture and makes your skin look and feel fantastic. It hydrates your skin nicely, reduces the appearance of pores and you can still use it with all your other normal facial products. Bonus: It arrived a full 7 days BEFORE the scheduled delivery date.

I sometimes feel like I have the oiliest face on the planet--and the accompanying giant pores...at least I USED to! This is the ONLY pore minimizer that has ever worked for me and I love it! It is not a magic potion so it took at least 6 weeks before I noticed a change but nearly 6 months later, my pores are tiny, my face is smooth and I almost never break out anymore. I went to ULTA to replace my last empty bottle, but they had some clear gel with the same name that didn't smell or feel the way this one does so I rushed back to order from Amazon. Thinking of buying another one to have as backup, just in case this version of it is discontinued or something. I can't say enough good things about this product. It really has changed my face!
