Luxurious yet great for everyday!
Luxurious without being fluffy. Thick and absorbent yet they dried between showers without issue. Love the color! Minimal lint for first time in the dryer. Very happy with them!

Great towels!
These are really good towels. They're a perfect size - substantial but not too huge. They absorb water quickly, and have a nice feel against your skin - not too rough, not too soft. My experience is that the really soft towels don't absorb water - so this type of texture is what I look for. After washing, they fluffed up and are nice and thick, and didn't give up much lint considering it was a first wash. Of course, I don't know about durability since I just got them, but maybe I'll revisit the review after having them for a while. The price is good too.

Thick and Soft!! PERFECT!!
I Love these fluffy, soft, Beautiful Towels!! They wash up great and are soft as can be. I have bought two different colors and both are as perfect as the other. I'll be back to buy more, for sure!!

Soft Enough to Hug, Tough Enough (Mostly) to Tackle Your Shower Routine
I’ve bought three sets of these Madison Park 800GSM beauties in different colors, and let me tell you—they are like wrapping yourself in a cloud that went to finishing school. The olive green color is rich and earthy, and the towels are thick, fluffy, and absorbent enough to make you question your loyalty to your old bathrobe. That said... one towel came with a surprise hole and another decided to unravel like a dramatic exit on a soap opera. I wish I’d noticed before washing them (but I don’t have an agitator, so it wasn’t the machine’s fault—this drama was preexisting). Unfortunately, washing them meant I couldn't return the set. Still, since 2 out of 24 towels I’ve ordered across sets had an issue, I’m chalking this up to a fluke rather than a trend. For the price point, they’re pretty luxurious, and my guests think I’m way fancier than I actually am. Would I buy again? I already did. Would I recommend? Absolutely—just maybe give them a once-over before the spin cycle.

Much nicer after washing
I was skeptical when I opened the package because the towels did not feel thick like I expected for 800gsm. I’m glad I decided to wash them before I returned them because that made all the difference. They are nice and thick and dry off nicely.

Plush, Absorbent, Attractive Towels
As the title says... You know, it is unusual that a very soft, plush towel is also very absorbent. These towels are, and are very attractive. I have been using these in my two full baths. Bath sheet for showers, hand towels for, well, hand drying and the washcloths to dry quarts countertops after use. They have retained their structure, dry surprisingly quickly (not super fast, but within 12 hours) and look great (I have the sage color) . As is always a wise idea with new towels, wash and dry these before use, visiting the dryer every 20 minutes or so to clean the packed lint filter. 2nd washing produces far less lint and the towels have not shed a single fiber when in use. Love em!

Seam split open on the first washing
A side seam split open on the first washing on two of these Madison Park Signature 800GSM bath towels. The other seams didn't look well made and had loose threads too We bought this Madison Park Signature set at the same time as we bought sample bath towels from Brooklinen, Frontgate, Four Seasons, Land's End, Matouk, Pottery Barn, RH, Turkish Towel Company. We declined to purchase from other hotels, such as St. Regis and Riz-Carlton, because my wife didn't want white towels, although our guest washclothes in the bathroom valet trays are white Ritz-Carlton, and are excellent quality. The Madison Park Signature were the worst of the lot. The Brooklinen, Lands End, and Pottery Barn were excellent value for money and we repurchased more of those. We also bought more of all of the other brands... enough to fill out a 4 piece bundle... because the quality was very good to excellent (at least as good as, and usually better than, the Brooklinen, Lands End, and Pottery Barn bath towels), with the only exception being the Four Seasons which we didn't buy more of. The Four Seasons was the only luxury hotel brand bath towel that we could find in 100% cotton that comes in colors (very nice ones too). Although the quality was excellent and the towels feel substantial, the Four Seasons brand fell a slight bit short of the quality of our favorites in the Frontgate, Matouk, and RH lines, all of which had a nicer hand and slightly fluffier feel than the Four Seasons. What really did the Four Seasons in for us though was the price. We only needed bath towels. So at $230 per set of 2 bath towels, plus some other towel sizes that we didn't want, the Four Seasons were effectively $115 per each towel. Other towels at 50% less than the price of the Four Seasons, seemed to be as good as, or better quality. If you could get value out of the all of the towels in the set, and could find them at a 25% discount, then you might think differently than we do about the Four Seasons towels. For us they're excellent (but pricey) towels standing in a crowded field of excellent competitors, some of which are 5 or 10% better at 50% less cost. And finally, the Four Seasons towels were stylishly trimmed, as were the Turkish Towel Company, and Pottery Barn. These all had some pizzaz to them. My wife also really liked the Frontgate trim, while I liked the trim on that one a bit less than she did. I thought the Brooklinen and Land's End had a slight bit of a classical trim touch to them, although Pottery Barn was mine and my wife's favorite trim. Trim was the least important category to us as none of the towels was kept or discarded based on trim. The Lands End are on Black Friday sale at the moment for $19 each, and we stocked up on three (3) more bundles of those. The Brooklinen are available here on Amazon, and we just ordered a few more of those with a 25% discount for $33 each. We bought the other models, whose prices I didn't previously mention, for about $34 to $54 each, plus S&H. Others may know of lower prices and better deals and products. If so, I hope they comment too.

Great towel, but unraveling
These are very thick, plush, absorbent towels. I really like them. I am giving 3 stars because they are already unraveling at the edge seam. I have washed them less than 10 times

Very Misleading. This towel is 550 GSM not 800 GSM, very misleading and not nice, a waste of my time. For customers who do not know how to calculate the GSM, when you get the towel you need to weigh it. Use this formula: 1.49 × 800 = ~1190 grams. Each towel should weigh 1190 to be 800 GSM
