Spectre Performance 81403 Mass Air Flow Sensor Adapter

The plug on the metal piece does not seal well. I can hold it to light and see a gap. I wrapped it with rubber bands to seal it. There is no sealing surface between the metal and plastic. I had to put a bead of RTV and clamped them together. Trimmed any excess that squeezed out. Let it cure for 2 days before installing.As others have mentioned, you have to dremel away the corners of the adapter to make this fit. Even with the trimming I did, it still wouldn't sit quite right. I had to also use a small self-adhesive weatherstrip around the MAF housing to get a good seal.Way too many possibilities for dirt to get into the intake.I'm going to put the stock airbox back in a few months once I've gotten 10-15,000 miles out of it. Just so I can feel I got some kind of money's worth out of it. Intake temps went up a little. Maybe 15 degrees.Sounds good under load, but was a pain to install. I've done multi-piece true cold air intakes down in the fender/bumper that were easier and more 'plug and play'

Works really good it’s an exact fit making things easy and no rigging but my one complaint is it does not come with any bolts or screws to bolt it on and you have to provide your own I think this would be a lot better buy if it also came with bolts and nuts for mounting and if it did I would give it 5 stars otherwise it easily deserves 4 the quality it amazing you can feel that it’s strong and well built.

Didn't fit. I had to dremel the 2 corners for the adapter to fit over the maf sensor. Works great though. If it wasn't for having to modify, it would of gotten 5 stars.

Ordered this part with a Spectre filter for a cheap intake instead of replacing the tubing into the intake manifold, for a $37 combo I have to say its an awesome upgrade. Sounds a lot better, picks up a little quicker as well. Very simple installation, one thing that should be noted though is you will need 4 long screws of some sort to connect the MAF sensor to this adapter; the old ones are connected to your air filter box so you cannot use those. Other than that though it shouldn't take you more than twenty minutes at the most. Would definitely recommend to others with this type of engine.

Although this wasn’t designed to fit my intake module, I still used it by making an adapter plate. I am very pleased with the outcome. My truck runs better and sounds cooler too.

perfectly fit in my 2002 galant 2.4 install it and spectre air filtre - sound realy nice , i like not shure what add some hp but make my smile while driving - good upgrade , bolts not includet , can reuse nuts but bolts need new , its gonna be - m6- 1.0 40 mm , and recomend to make some kinde of holder for it , kinde hevi , old air filter going to trunk, good luck

If you have a mitsubishi and you want to get rid of that ugly stock box and go with the 'other' makes that have the coned filter set up. This is the place to start. I was contemplating wether to buy or get one made. Costed me 35 bucks in total to have it in my hand but iam not quarrelling.I only wished that they could've included screws and bolts....but for 5 bucks :PIt's nice can't wait to order my filter and go test the results.

Quality piece of aluminum, not weak by any means. Spacer is plastic but fairly solid, not a concern.No screws included with this package, would be nice if they'd decide to add them even for a dollar more. Good cheap alternative to big name short ram intake kits. Sounds great on an eclipse.

Works great but you'll have to buy hardware, and the hardware on your car right now won't work lol, ask me how I know! (Bolts aren't long enough for the added length of the holes.)

Doesn’t fit because because it cost almost half of the price of the product to return I will keep it and use it somewhere.
