Bowling Pro Am II Shoes

Great shoes and fit perfectly. Agree with other reviews go a half size down. Already bowled several games and no break in period required.

Solid shoes and (at least from my perspective) beginner shoe. I have improved my game and confidence since I started using them a few weeks back for league competition. Adjusting to them took a couple matches after using exclusively house shoes all my life, but once I started trusting them it has paid off greatly. They are very comfortable and feel like regular casual shoes. The grip is nice on the right shoe to help me gain traction to my starting place and solidly displace the weight to my left foot upon release. After getting used to the increased slide I have been able to get significantly more power through my mechanics alone and also comfortably step up from 15 to 16 lb. They're not the most attractive shoes in the world but you'd be asked to go home and change if you showed up in these at Clown College.

Bought these as a gift and he loves them, said his feet and ankles don't hurt anymore while bowling.

Haven't bowled much in years, but my old Dexter shoes had to go. I wanted shoes for a right handed bowler so I tried these. Really great quality for the price. Right out of the box they felt like I an old favorite. Performed great and very comfortable. I wear an 11 wide sneakers, but in these a 10.5 fit perfectly.

They fit good, go easy when you approach or you'll nose dive on the lane

I received these shoes about a week ago and have bowled 36 games with them. They were comfortable out of the box, well made, and definitely performed as expected. I’d recommend these to any one looking to move up from a beginner’s shoe. UPDATE: I have now bowled about 80 games with these shoes. After breaking in, they have gotten better. The slide pad on the right foot and the traction sole for push off on the left shoe is performs perfectly. These shoes have definitely helped my approach to the line a lot. Since getting them my average is up almost 10 pins. I credit this to the consistent push off and slide these shoes give. At this point, I couldn’t be happier. I’m considering buying a second pair as a backup. UPDATE 2: I’ve now bowled over 200 games with these shoes and they show virtually no signs of wear. It seems the more I bowl with them the better they get. I highly recommend them.

Update /// Dexter used to be a great quality product but like everything else you buy now the quality is terrible. The eyelets for the strings continue to come out of the shoe every time I use them. Jeez you would think they could at least rivet something correctly. Cheap made and bad quality for any price.

Die Schuhe waren ein Geschenk für meinen Vater. Die Schuhe passen von der Größe her optimal und drücken nicht. Das Material fühlt sich gut an. Die Möglichkeit mit den Schuhen beim Bowlinganlauf zu rutschen ist toll. Mein Papa ist zufrieden =)

Je suis un adepte des chaussures simples sans semelles interchangeables puisque je joue avec une semelle en "teflon" qui me donne toujours la même glisse quelque soit l'avant piste... Ces chaussures remplissent très bien leur emploi.

Great slide, great fit and comfortable. I'm a size uk size 8, but didn't buy the advised US 9.5 and went for the US 9 (UK 7.5) instead and they fit perfect. They are not heavy to wear but they are right hand only, which I like as I feel more planted to the approach.
