Cheap peace of mind
I'm using this to check my gas flow when setting up my tig welder. Even if you have an accurate gauge on your regulator its worth having one of these to make sure everything is working correctly. It turned out the first regulator I bought was faulty which I would never have discovered without this gauge so in the end this cheap little tool saved me a lot of gas. Definitely recommend for peace of mind.

Much easier to set up a TIG welder
I didn't know about these tools at all until I say someone using one on a YouTube video. You simply hold it over the torch nozzle of a TIG or MIG torch and adjust the gas until you get the correct flow. I found the reading at the nozzle was about the same as on the tank gauge so obviously all was well and no leaks. Also tells me that I can mostly trust the tank gauge. Where I think it will be particularly useful is when using small disposable cylinders (as I often do when MIG welding) and with no tank gauge there is no real way of knowing if enough gas it getting through other than by listening to the hiss and deciding it sounds about right. I haven't tried the tool yet on my MIG but I'm sure it will make a big difference and I'll probably set it for less flow than when using the hiss test. Very pleased overall and highly recommended.

Sehr Praktisch, um den Argon oder Mischgas-Durchsatz zu messen. Auch als Überprüfung, des aufgebauten Drückmanometer, zu verwenden!! Zum weiter Empfehlen. Sollte bei keinem Schweiß-Vorgang fehlen!!
