I'm giving 5 stars because I dont think my one complaint is really a big deal. I think this is a great product. The quality is really good. It reinforces number, shape, and color learning in addition to practicing lacing. My daughter loves the caterpillar. My only complaint is that there is no end piece or anything to stop the beads from coming off the other end when lacing them. Like I said, not a huge deal. We get creative and just lace the other end back through some of the beads and it holds up very well. Overall I'm very pleased and my daughter enjoys it. She's 18mths now and I think we've had it for maybe 2 months already.

Our OT therapist recommended this to help with grasping and it became our son’s favorite new toy. Mostly to chew on the string, but the blocks are colorful and two of the bigger ones make noise.

I purchased this for my grandson with fine motor control issues. He enjoys stringing the beads and it is very comfortable for his hands. The only thing that needs fixing is that the string separates in the middle when pulled and blocks come off at the end. I am still trying to figure a way to safely attach a new larger end to them.

Well made toy, however, it didn't hold my grandson's interest very long or frequently.

My Grandson starting lacing at 6 months; able to do a few by himself by 9 months, by himself at 12. This is a fine motor skill many kids aren't getting early enough. Would recommend for anyone trying to encourage learning.

I purchased this product for my home daycare, and my daycare children are enjoying it so much! They range from ages 1 to 4 years old, and I love that it keeps them all engaged and focused. It's a wonderful activity to promote their fine motor development, hand-ete coordination and focus. I beads are the perfect size for little hands, but large enough not to be a chocking hazard for the younger children. Beautiful quality and vibrant colours. I think the wooden threading needle is a great, thoughtful design.
