I got this book for my 16-year-old niece, and she absolutely loved it. The message is uplifting, encouraging, and very relatable for young girls navigating this stage of life. What I appreciated most is how it combines faith with real-life situations in a gentle and inspiring way. It’s not overwhelming, but still meaningful and impactful. She told me it made her feel more confident and reminded her of her worth, which, as an aunt, means everything to me. I highly recommend this book for teenage girls who need a little encouragement, positivity, and spiritual guidance. 💖✨

Such a good book for women in general! It was a quick read but so impactful. Definitely worth reading and even rereading!

In discussion with my 17 yr old daughter who is a reading machine: 1. TOO SHORT!! 150 pages??! *gasp* That’s just her but she said for the girls who don’t like to read, or struggle with reading, it flows well. 2. Phenomenal! Superb! 3. Condenses numerous messages boldly with no watering down. 4. Personal...as if Priscilla is sitting right there in a small group. Lot of use of “little sister” ❤️ which is very endearing 😊 5. Not just for teen girls, for the young at heart and for all the ladies (as Priscilla herself said) ...I’m reading it as well. Loving it! 6. Doesn’t dumb down the language... ties into #3 7. Will definitely be reading again, this time with pen and highlighters...my daughter just hates to mark up her books but when I told her “remember, we have my copy” she was like 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😂. Plans on reading it again this week. 8. Repetition and consistency in repeating a few messages but my daughter said it’s as if she’s saying “hey little sister....are you getting it yet??!” 9. Now really wants to see Overcomer!! So yes, very impactful and very much appreciated!

I bought this book for my daughter, for us to read together. I had no idea that it would touch me so deeply as well. It is written for teen and young adult girls, but my oh my, no matter the age, the message is the same. Powerful. Impacting. Empowering. In a world telling girls who they should be, Priscilla Shirer uses her powerful voice and relatable humor to remind us who God says we are and who He made us to be. This is a must read for all young girls, and even some of us older ones.

This book is a great source to explain to your young daughter the importance of her life and relationship with God. This book begins to make young girls see that their purpose of life and belonging is more than what they may feel and think is not valuable at the time. Me being a parent of a 14 year old girl with low self esteem and battling with finding her own identity entering into high school this book helps me as parent guide her as well as helps me become more understanding. I would truly recommend reading this book along side of your daughter it helps open the gates for more conversation. We are on to mom and daughter journals ;)

This book for me, is like a letter from an older sister to her younger sister. She explains to her little sister about life and how to serve God a day at a time, in the midst of all the drama and chaos around. Well written, with thought and love.

Priscilla is a gifted writer and I love the truths in this book. Backed up with scripture, Priscilla shares stories from her teen years and applies biblical truths that will help teen girls grow their faith and learn to see themselves as God sees them. Excellent buy.

Oh how I wish I had this book in my hands as a teenager or young twenty something wondering about my future. Priscilla’s sweet mentorship is so very kind, and filled with truth. I took away so much about my identity and calling in Christ, even now as a woman in my mid thirties. I will be buying this book for every young woman I know.
