ESTWING 10IN PRO-Claw Moulding Puller

Q: Is it made in usa? there are other estwing branded tools that are made in china so i want to be sure.

Mine came stamped "made in japan". I have only personally had Estwing products from the 🇺🇸 USA or Taiwan, which when considering how much Taiwan even existing bothers China, buying Taiwanese is OK with me, but domestic is of course preferable. This is the first Estwing product I have bought that was of Japanese origin though.

Q: Does anyone know the max width of the teardrop nail puller claw? My other Estwing is 3/4" which is too big.

Teardrop nail puller end measures 1/2” at the narrowest part and flares out to 5/8”. I find this a very useful, quality tool

Q: I need a tool that’ll remove a flat nail from a fascia or metal without much damage. Will this work for me?

A fish tail pry bar like this one is the tool of choice for minimising damage when removing nails. The Estwing's fishtail is pretty thick...as a matter of preference I ground mine down slightly to thin the edge. The tool may work fine for you as delivered.

Bought to replace lost prybar,longer but still very useful,used most days,blue grip is handy and easier to see compared to the black painted bars. Made in Japan, good quality.

It looks good the only problem i have it is made in vietnam and previously i had a hammer. Ade in usa that last a life time i mean it is not the same quality i think if you just use the name and produce product somewhere else

How this situation will be rectified as it was not cheap

I bought this product to remove nails from old joist.After using the tool for about half an hour I looked at the end and the bits that pull the nail out had bent opposite ways making it hard to grip the nails that are sank into the wood
