Electriduct Wire Loom Insertion Tool Set for 3/8" to 2" Conduit Sleeving Inst...

I knew how much of a pain wire looms are, so I tried these, they work great for the wires that I needed to cover. The wires that you need to cover need to fit into the tool. So, while you are stuffing wires and pulling this tool down the loom it is pretty easy, it just takes a min to get the hang of it, but not too bad for me at least.

I have 3 or 4 different sizes of these from like 1/2"-to-7/8" up to this 1-1/2", and each makes working with split wire loom cable wrap or split braided sleeve wire wrap a breeze and definitely less painful! The smaller ones are a bit fiddly in my large hands but still easy enough to work with. Once the wires are in the tool and locked in and the sleeve/loom is prepared on the parting nib, feeding the wires into a sleeve is as quick as it takes to pull it thru your hands. Highly recommend for home and professional installers. Why this brand and design? If you look around, you can find cheaper items but they don't have the nice benefits of all the thought that went into this design: 1 - twist open/twist lock quick loading of cabling into the tool without concern for how big the cable-end connector is; 2 - (assoc. to #1 above) By only working with the cable jackets and not the end terminators, this tool allows for quick determination of whether all the cables will fit in the loom or if the next size up or down should be used. 3 - Light weight and compact. 4 - Ease of use

Makes installing split loom much easier. Only issue is that it is a bit tight fitting onto wood in the smaller sizes

I didn't know these existed. A co-worker saw them and suggested I take a look. I ordered right away and am disappointed that I didn't have them earlier. What a great product and time saver.

I use this for covering my oxygen hose so my cat doesn’t chew it. It is hard to find a solid 50ft section at a reasonable price. Will buy again.

I've been putting cables into pet-chew-proofing sleeves that are rough and scratch my fingers. This protects my fingers, and makes the task SO much easier and faster - less than 20 seconds per power cord now. Just slip the cord into it, zip the tool along the length of the chew-protector sleeve, and you're done!

I was surprised, when this arrived, at how small the thing is over all. It is TINY. Given the 1/2 ID of the loom I am using, I guess it cannot be large. But I was surprised none-the-less. It seems to work well for my simple needs - getting a loom over a fiber optic cable installed poorly outside my house for 25 feet or so. It helps to have another person on the end going over the cable to pull the loom along slowly. I don't know how many time this will work before the plastic wears through. But I don't need much lifespan as I hope to do this only once.

I have had the same neighbors for several years, so they didn't call the cops. But really, re-wiring several boat trailers and utility trailers became fun again. My next project is an entire wiring job on a 68 Cougar and then my 74 Bronco. These are worth the expense, and will make your wire jobs look tidy and professional.

Excellent and useful tool. Saves your fingers. A wireless loom finger cut makes a paper or cardboard cut look like a nothing burger. This solves that problem. Easy to use.

This tool made the job of wire insertion so so easy ... totally recommend for work of this kind 👍🏻

A must have if you're installing a lot of wire loom. I have used the smaller ones for years and love them. Larger ones were not easily available at that time. lost one and looked to replace it and came across this set.

Simplifies installation of split tube wire protection products of many sizes. Would always recommend wire protection for thinner cords common in electronic chargers, cordless phone systems, computer power sources, especially if pets are in the location. Small investment to prevent cable damages that can be very expensive and inconvenient to replace.
