Great for privacy but still letting some light in.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Transformed our Front Window - Great Privacy, Easy Install! I recently purchased the Finnez Frosted Window Film (Cross Pattern) for a window in our family room, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This film is exactly what I needed because it provides excellent privacy without sacrificing natural light, and the installation was surprisingly straightforward. Installation (5/5): The "static cling, non-adhesive" feature is a game-changer. I've used sticky window films before, and they are a nightmare to align and remove. This Finnez film was incredibly easy to work with. Preparation is Key: Make sure you thoroughly clean the glass and use plenty of soapy water (a few drops of dish soap in a spray bottle of water). Cutting: Measure twice, cut once! I left about a centimeter overhang and trimmed it carefully with a sharp utility knife after applying it, which gave a perfect, seamless edge. Application: Spray the glass liberally, peel the backing, apply, and then squeegee all the water out. It clung instantly and held firm. Privacy & Light (5/5): The frosted Cross Pattern is both subtle and beautiful. It completely obscures the view into the room, even at night with the lights on, providing full privacy. Crucially, it doesn't make the room feel dark. The light that comes through is diffused and soft, creating a lovely ambiance. Aesthetic (5/5): The cross pattern adds a nice touch of decorative flair. It looks far more expensive and professional than the price we paid. It genuinely looks like etched glass, not a cheap plastic film and is thick enough to look like it's high quality. Overall: If you need a hassle-free privacy solution that looks great and blocks UV rays, I highly recommend this film. It's a huge improvement over blinds or curtains for areas like bathrooms or windows that you don't want to cover with a curtain. Pro-Tip: Don't skimp on the soapy water! It allows you to slide the film around easily for perfect positioning before you squeegee it down.

Window film that looks great and gives privacy
This window film is very nice. I had some old plexiglass on my front doors that start cracking and breaking into small pieces. I checked Amazon for plexiglass replacement but couldn't find anything that offered privacy. I then found this window film and after reading several reviews, I decided to try it since the price was very reasonable. I cut the film to a size slightly bigger than the window I was covering. I sprayed some water on the window, peeled the backing off the film, and attached the film to the window. I positioned the film in place and used an old credit card to push the water towards the edges. This is similar to how window tint is installed in cars. I used a razor to trim the excess film around the edges. The look of the window film is great. It allows some light to come thru while also proving privacy. I can definitely recommend this window film since installation was not difficult and it looks great.

Privacy But Make it Pretty
The Frosted Window Film was exactly what I was looking for. After moving into our new home, we needed a solution that would add privacy to the front door without taking away from the overall appeal of the house, and this product delivered beautifully. The installation process took about 35 minutes, which I didn’t mind at all since I enjoy working with precision. I started by thoroughly cleaning the glass, then generously spraying the surface with water before applying the film - the more water, the better for positioning. I used a squeegee tool I already had at home to smooth out the film and release any tiny bubbles. To finish, I carefully trimmed the excess with an X-Acto knife for a clean, seamless border. I am extremely pleased with the final result. It truly elevates the look of our door while maintaining privacy and a polished, modern appearance.

So long as remove film, and dump water on..
**REMOVE BACKING FILM** **POUR ON THE WATER!!** Press at an angle towards side edges/bottom. Not sure what everyone is talking about of difficult application, or issue peeling film off. Tip: To peel, place corner, cling down, on hard surface, flicking then corner with fingernail and backing film with lift right up (as it’s stiff enough). Got on first try every time. Yes, lots and lots of water. Think you applied enough? Put more water on. I literally poured. Well, squirted. Squirt bottle made it easy to re-lift and blast out any debris. I applied after pouring water on window, having placed rolled up towel at bottom to absorb excess that dripped. If once pressed out, using thumb pad of my palm, or a folded up (for padding) white washcloth, if anything under (fuzz, hair, small sand like grains) I just lifted and flushed out with water. (I actually used a squeeze bottle with three tiny holes at tip). Press out, in a slight downward motion. Once have top tacked in place/lined up to top of window casing, continue to press at downward angle, alternate using upward angle motions towards outside edge if needing to press out bubbles. I used so much water there were no air bubbles to deal with. Didn’t even use a squeegee tool, film clung right on, was easy (so long as keep excess water behind) to manipulate by shifting around, slides really easy until press out the water. Was easy to line up, top edge first. I cut with new razor blade, slicing along a long (36”) metal ruler, atop my large wood cutting board. Film is thick with film on back, but no special cutting tools necessary. I did not attempt to trim in place, but proper measuring had line up with total perfection. No bubbles. Application appears same as etched glass. 4 star rating, as not near level of privacy as expected. Can see through the clear slash portions on the design. And nighttime view in lets outside viewers see pretty much all that is going on. My windows are huge, so at night with lights on inside, more than just movement can be made out. I therefore do still draw curtains at night. Very adequate however with amount of light lets in from outside during daylight hours. Slash/starburst like design looks fabulous! Clear and clean mid century vibe achieved. I did also on sides opt to leave 1/2” gap so could see out with clear view if desired. This does not affect amount anyone can see in, if from afar, from outside. Of course if where outside pressed up to window could see in near as clear as with no cling.

Nobody will ever see the mess again
It is a very good privacy film. I used it in the garage to get rid of dust collecting curtains. The film looks great, the thickness is right, and since you can go either vertically or horizontally, it offers a good value for the money. I like that the design complements the house and blends well with white garage doors and white windows.

Easy to use and makes for budget friendly home upgrades
I purchased and applied this immediately after solicitor came knocking on my door then stood on their tiptoes and looked in the window part of my door. I couldn’t believe the nerve people have! This film was easy to cut, apply, reposition, and smooth out the air bubbles so it looks like my door came from the factory with frosted privacy glass. It was a quick afternoon project in the fall and has held up 2 months so far under various temperatures here in the mid-west. I will definitely be using this privacy film in other places around the house where I want light to be able to shine in, while protecting my family from nosey people!

Beautiful design and adds light to the room!
Was so eager to put on that I didn’t read the instructions. Wondered why the edges weren’t sticking and kept curling away from the window and even tried to use hot water to bend them back into the window, to no avail. Finally looked at the instructions and realized there was a film that I needed to take off. Big goof on my end, for sure! They clung to the window immediately after taking the film off! The key is to measure the width of the window and order based off of that. I used the 23.5 inch wide and the 45.5 inch wide because I have one huge window. That one is my favorite because it made the window a focal point. Lets in light so beautifully and adds privacy to the light tablecloths I used for curtains. Would definitely recommend and have purchased 3 rolls! No peeling and even had to remove one to switch to another window with no problems at all! Easy to cut and great value!
