Mat pad is great. Tried it temporarily on the cot and it will work perfectly. Could use a little more padding but its better than laying on a cot without it. Overall great product.

My daughter has one of these and told me how comfortable it was while she was campingI have a bad back and have to sleep on a cushioned airbed. This pad works very well so far. Very comfortable.I take it off the airbed once a week and let it air out while washing my sheets. My only complaint is the outside material is so thin any friction causes holes which results in a bit of mending on my part every month or so.

Bought this to use in conjunction with the Redman cot. It is super soft and makes the cot much more comfortable and looks great. Seems well made. We were fighting over who got to use this cot. I’d recommend getting it if your buying the cot.

The pad I received was in no way as thick and luscious as the pad pictured on Amazon. That said, the material is soft and it fits my cot. I like the buckle strap used to secure it and the fitted edges. It is a good pad to use in cooler weather to keep your body heat in. You could accomplish the same with a blanket or two, but I really like the fitted edges and strap/buckle to secure it. I bought the damaged packaging option at a lower price. I would recommend if you are going to pay full price, take that money and invest in a thicker, more expensive pad. It fills my needs. I bought on price, and I fear if I use this cot quite a bit, I will wish I had purchased a thicker cot pad. The pictures do not reflect what I received for thickness.

It is not 3 inches thick. It's the same as lying on a comforter. Not worth the buy and returns are not free

This was exactly what I was looking for . It is firm enough to use on a camping cot or floor, as I don't use a bed (and can't afford the type of bed and mattress that give me the type of support I need), and I wanted something to provide some insulation and softness between the floor and my bedding. It doesn't take up much space compared to a full size air mattress as it rolls and cinches up, and it cleans easily. Perfect for my needs!

The red camp cots are so incredibly uncomfortable (tested by a few people) I decided to buy the pads in the hope it would make a difference. It did not - pads are thin and have little padding. The cot and pads were a complete waste of money - I’m hoping this review will stop you from making the same mistake.
