A lovely present for an Austen fan. Unfortunately she already had it, so my gift got donated to a charity shop.

I'm new to jigsaws and this is the first that I purchased. It was an absolute joy to put together. The pieces fit perfectly. You can pick up the jigsaw on completion and it hangs like a picture, without falling apart - which I've been reliably informed is the mark of a high quality puzzle! The box and interior bag are both made from paper (no plastic in sight). The image itself is beautifully detailed with enough distinction to avoid utter confusion, whilst requiring some concentration to assemble. Having since purchased a Gibsons jigsaw (which is not at all of the same quality), I can highly recommend Laurence King puzzles.

Really lovely picture, and great quality puzzle. Excellent gift for someone who's a fan of English Romanticism. On the back of the poster in the box, they also include a key to all of the references that were drawn, which was really awesome. Normally this brand has a really amazing soft matte finish, similar to Apple packaging. I have four other puzzles from this manufacturer, all with the matte finish. Oddly enough, this puzzle had a rather bland eggshell finish. The texture was one of my favorite things about this brand so that was a bit of a disappointment. The pieces fit together well. They are cut with your standard tabs/blanks pieces. It's not the most challenging puzzle because of the design, but it's still a fun one to do. The puzzle box is really nice quality and has a very mild linen finish. On the edge, they have each of the characters drawn out and labeled. The box itself doesn't have the same finish as the puzzle pieces (linen versus eggshell). It also doesn't have the full picture on the box; however, the poster insert does if you want a guide to go off of. Laurence King uses a standard box layout, so they all look good next to each other!
