Fantastic phone
Worth every penny, this is a great phone and I would highly recommend it. I also use a OnePlus 7 Pro and have always used various flagships, but to be honest, this phone is making me wonder why more people don't just go for a cheaper phone. It's super fast and responsive, has a clean UI receives updates every single month, and it looks and feels great in the hand. People cannot believe when I tell them how cheap it is to buy.

Cracking phone for price
Lush phone, great at this price point, bought for a birthday present for my son at 16yo. He loves it, tidy camera and good size, not the newest snapdragon but focuses on better camera. Good bloatware free os

Well done Nokia!
Managed to escape the mainstream smartphones with this one... Very impressed with it having used it for a month now. God battery, expensive looking built, great camera, fast and slick. An absolutely must to protect its screen and rear triple cameras with screen protection and the phone in general as it is prone to dinks and knocks. But then... which smartphone isn’t...

I love this phone
\I have AMD but couldn't afford the phone I really wanted. I thought this one might do and it is perfect. I can enlarge font and change the colour densities to accommodate my eyesight needs. Also it handles well. I sometimes dont use fingerprint rec as this is the only feature that I have trouble activating. This is a good compact phone with a large screen and good definition. I love it.

Nokia 7.2. For me, not a great phone.
Further Update: June 2020 I don't usually update reviews, but I feel I must with this item. I've also reduced my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. So, since last time, the issues that I had (see below) are still there, and things have become far worse - even with an update to Android 10. - the camera clicks and gives every indication that it has taken a photo. But, more often than not, it hasn't taken that photo and nothing is stored. - the phone intermittently loses my mobile signal. I've checked that there is nothing wrong with the network, and there generally isn't. Turn the phone off and back on, the mobile signal comes back on. It's fast becoming a brick, having to be turned off and on more times than it is in use. Nokia obviously have enough money to market their products. Perhaps, a little more of their budget could go on making a few of their phones fit for purpose, as this one is certainly far from it. I may well be taking this further. ................ I've waited 4-5 months to give a review on this. I really wanted to give it time to show me it was worth buying, and I really wanted to like it. Sadly, after giving it time, it hasn't really impressed me that much. It's just ok, reasonable, and there's nothing special about it at all. There's nothing particularly great about it, but it certainly isn't awful either. I'm running Android 9 as it hasn't yet given me the option to update to 10. So, the bad points: - The camera is not good. It seems to have trouble focussing on video mode, but more significant than this, the camera will just freeze for no reason. You need to come out of the camera app and relaunch it. - The screen will often pick up your apps (more so when they are in a file together) and just move them across the screen. You have to turn off the screen and put it back on again. - The screen will just freeze from time to time for no reason. Once again, you need to click the button on the side to turn the screen off and on again. Apart from the camera, which is a real problem for me, the other points, although still unacceptable, are manageable. But, when you're paying £200 plus for a phone, I still expect a little more. I'm running Android 9 with all security and other updates done. The phone is only using 37% storage space. Would I buy another Nokia? No! I've had Nokia in the past and moved away from them. Strangely enough (or perhaps not strangely), my wife also has a Nokia (hers is a 6.1), and she has had problems as well.

The jury's out
I like this phone, it fills all my needs. However, I bought it as a direct replacement for an identical phone, which failed under warranty. It had lasted 10 months only, before dying. One morning, after charging it overnight as usual, it had shut itself off, and would not restart, whatever I tried. After a phone call to Amazon, I returned it to Amazon that afternoon, and, once in their system, Amazon refunded the purchase price. After a little thought I purchased the same phone again, from Amazon. It had, after all, fulfilled all my needs. What else was I going to buy? I received a replacement, as a Prime member, 24 hours later. Excellent service from Amazon. So I googled the fault with the phone. I was amazed to discover that lots of people had had this fault, where the phone spontaneously shuts itself off, never to restart. Lots of refunds. Lots of suggestions why this should happen. The main suggestion was that the phone shuts itself off due to overheating of the battery. It was hoped that Nokia would fix this via an update of some kind. So, in order to try what little I can do to protect the phone from this "fault", I've installed the app "Accubattery", to manage the battery. I now set Accubattery to inform me when the battery is charged to 80%, and I unplug it. Not a proper fix, I know, but we'll see. And I'll see if this one lasts longer than 10 months. Having said all that, as an Android One phone, it does everything I want, while it's working.
