Love these bulbs, give a soft glow which makes it great for getting up in the middle of the night or brushing your teeth if you dont want bright lights in your eyes. Not that its an issue with me but they do seem more orange than red when illuminated.

Grabbed these red LED bulbs to set the mood for my spooky flying skeleton decor above my front door, and wow—instant scare any delivery driver that didn't expect it. The color is bold, bright, and perfectly eerie without being overpowering. Super energy-efficient, easy swap-in, and they made my whole porch glow like a horror movie entrance. Absolutely killer for Halloween setups! Hopefully I'll be able to use this for a great number of years ahead without any quality, durability or just general failures in them.

I use these in my bedside table lamps, they do cut down on the eye strain, it takes a bit of getting used to because they cause a big color shift. I didn't notice any flikckering or noise, they are a lot dimmer than a regular bulb which is nice in a bedroom. I didn't check for heat radiation, I doubt they would have any more heat to them than a normal white LED. I haven't had them long enough to determine bulb life, I only have them on about 15 minutes at bed time. If you need some red lights, these will work.

Great price and almost exactly what I needed. Except the color is slightly orange tinted. Pick another version if you need a pure red light.

I love this light. It’s perfect for easing my eyes out blue light from electronics in the evening and I use it as a night light.

It isn't a good choice for a photographic darkroom as it does not use a single-wavelength red LED. I found its output extended up into green (see photo), and there is some blue leaking through as well. There is likely a white LED inside and the plastic bulb is merely colored red. This is excellent for holiday decorations - the broader spectrum output gives a soft reddish-orange glow that is not harsh and monochromatic. But it is not appropriate for photographic darkrooms.

These bulbs are of good quality, they're durable and are bright enough to see what you're doing, but dim enough that they don't attract a lot of bugs. I also have a version in yellow, but the yellow definitely attracts more bugs.
