Thicc
These were a gift from a non-musician to an aspiring hobbyist musician. Hold the phone for a sec. I wouldn’t have given these a second look. I have my own personal pick favorite, and it wasn’t these. But then I tried them. The soft almost rubberized texture allows for little to no slipping even with a soft gripping despite play style. And unless you want to rip the strings off of your guitar, you’ll need a softened grip. I am currently using 12s on one of my guitars. Anything lighter than 11s and I would avoid these picks. These are thicc. And dark. And perfect. I play around with several music genres and they all turn into “I’m going to attack this with the anger of one thousand chihuahuas”. Blues turns into heavy southern black and blues, rock turns into metal, metal turns into how I drink my coffee- black. The temptation to rip into a song in ways unintended originally is strong, so beware. I’ve repeatedly read professional musicians say “tone is in the fingers” and fingers are somewhat required for holding a pick. If you are looking for something different to spice things up a bit, try these. Seriously.

Perfect tone - exactly what I was looking for.
I would like to have given these picks a five star rating, but I did not because they don't last as well as I had hoped. I play 150+ shows a year and use only this pick and the slightly thicker yellow version. I gave up on other brands quite a long time ago. To date I have purchased and used 100's of this pick. I go through several a night because they get dull very quickly. I can live with that.

These are my favorite picks!
i've been playing both acoustic and electric guitars, off and on since 1968 and I really love these very thin, Duralin based guitar picks! I can 'feel the strings' through this pick's fine 'touch' better than when using plastic picks. I also use heavier versions of this pick when I need more volume from my acoustic guitar but I use these lighter picks all of the time on my electric and often, with my acoustic, as well. The Duralin seems to hold up better than the plastic picks (I use Fender) which will crack and split, eventually. I've never had a duration pick wear out (yet). I also use these light .5mm duration picks for a spacing gauge to adjust the spacing between the six, independently adjustable bridge saddles on my Peavey AT200 electric guitar, each of which contains a piezo pickup. It is difficult to adjust them visually because they are black on a black bridge plate but using these picks placed between them as spacers, setup is easy and very fast! Piezo pickups will 'quack' if they touch each other and they will 'go out' of adjustment so it is critical to have a fast way to adjust them if you gig with this kind of guitar.

Go Away, Boomer.
Perfect for strumming, even on the extra-thiccc strings I use (Chad Flex? I'll go die, now).

Comfortable and accurate.
I don't know much about picks but I love them, they are durable, despite their thickness they don't feel rigid, they feel soft when you strum the guitar, and their sharp tip makes playing easier.

Very nice for fast playing. I own 1.2mm and decided to try a lighter gauge. Might try the 1.0mm next.

These picks stand up to their name. It's been a month and I'm still on my first pick. It has far exceeded my expectations. There's hardly any wear even though I have played as hard as I can. So durable? Extremely! Now for precision. Playability is great, it has a sharp tip just as specified which allows for great precision. Yet I must say, there's no string scraping. Great attack and dynamic control. You can play aggressively with ease yet you can strum as light as a feather. You'll get much more clarity in your tone with this pick. The pick surface feels great too, it's a matte finish. If you ask me, this deal is a total steal. 10 awesome picks and for such a low price, these can easily last for 1.5 to 2 years(provided you don't lose any).
