With my last two mobile phones I have suffered the same problem. Lint and fluff from pockets get stuck in the usb-c socket, and despite cleaning it out, eventually it becomes harder and harder to create a electrical connection to power the phone, requiring frustrating times of balancing charging leads at various angles in the hope to gain some manner of power supply. This become especially difficult in the car when using as a sat nav since on a long journey powering is a must, but it became increasingly difficult to run. I took some advice on this, and one suggestion was to this a mag connector in the usb-c socket. This is a small dongle that fits in the phone USB and lives with it. the cable connects magnetically to it creating a electrical connection i bought this product because it provided 3 cables (one for home, one for the car, and a spare). First impressions was the product was well made, although the cables could be longer it would suit most applications. The magnetic attraction was surprisingly strong, and the dongle, although proud of the phone was relatively out of the way. In terms of connectivity, the cable attached cleanly with the minimum of fuss, and powered the phone right away, both at home and in the car. One more advantage of this connector is that if the cable is pulled accidentally, it will detach without damaging the power socket and also in a car it is far easier to connect when the phone is screen mounted In short, I am very hopeful that this is the solution to my lint issues, and also offers a number of advantages. In fact I may get more for my wife

The cables work as advertised, but with time the cables don't fit the tips, some tips brake. They have lasted me 3 years and the tips are the weak point, I bought another batch hoping for the best, I have to say it is quite handy to have these.

These are excellent cables, which will really reduce the wear and tear on the USB C port of my mobile, especially as I need to connect it regularly to my car's Android Auto system. The magnetic connection is nice and strong, orientating themselves for a really easy process of getting the device on charge. For the Android Auto data connection, the connection is more reliable than it has ever been. I'm having to be ultra picky here, but it'd be good if there was a cable variant that didn't have an LED at the end, as it is so powerful, it lights up the ceiling in the bedroom when I charge my mobile overnight. A small piece of insulation tape should do for now though and everywhere else, the LED is quite helpful. Nice one

Got these because the round ones wouldn't fit in the space on the new S22 Ultra Phone case. They don't snap into place as easy as the round ones but they're still much better than inserting and removing the USB-C plug all the time.

just got these after buying the round style about a month ago and being a little underwhelmed by the design the magnet was strong but the charger came out of the phone far to easily when being disconnected from the wire this one is a massive improvement over the last style the charger fits well into the phone and takes force to dislodge doesn't disconnect with the wire at all and connects easily massive improvement and great product

The adapters break regularly Not worth the money

It would be best on the market as it works well with QE and holds well up to 16watts. easy to connect and I have 25+ cables of gen10 The biggest issue with it is that tips getting corroded in high humidity environment. At home it is ok, but if you go e.g. to the sea side for holiday where the humidity is high or spill something on it - it gets rusty and stops working. If manufacturer uses different materials for the contacts, I think it would be perfect. My stats is that ~10% of the tips go bad in a year.

I had to buy this for the quick charging function as the round ones with 2 contact points only deliver standard current. This one works perfectly, the only downside is that the plug is too long, not talking about the wider section, but the thingy that goes inside the phone. I managed to grind down 1mm with a nail file but not sure everybody wants to do that.

Sehr funktionale Kabel mit Adapter USB C zum Laden von z.b. Handys oder ähnlichem. Ich habe mittlerweile an jedem Gerät zum Laden einen Adapter, vor allem im Auto. Hier ist es besonders praktisch, da man die Kabel nur hinhalten muss und dann werden sie schon magnetisch angezogen. Das Laden beginnt, am Kabelende ist ein kleines blaues LED Licht, welches Strom auf dem Kabel anzeigt. Im Paket waren drei Kabel und drei Adapter. Würde ich mir jederzeit wieder kaufen. Kabel sind ca 1 m lang

Perfekte Lösung um das Kabel schnell anzubringen und die Ladebuchse zu schützen. Datenübertragung läuft auch super!
