Very often it prevents my MacBook from staying shut down. Have to remove when shutting down in order to ensure the MacBook stay shut down. Other than that, its a good product and serves its intended purpose

I must say this fawless privacy is a game changer. Works and fits my 15.4" macbook pro well. And it's feels sleek and durable. It also help reduce the direct blue lighting from my bare eyes. Now I feel my screen is protected and my data too.

I always use it when I travel or at the cafe. It's easy to use; because it is magnetic, I remove it when I'm home.

Bought this for my 2021 a2485 Macbook Pro 16" 1) As a privacy screen, it works great. Does exactly what you'd expect. Unfortunately for me, that wasn't a reason I was interested in this. I would like this screen better if it was clear/not intended for privacy. I was looking for a magnetic screen protector first and foremost, and preferably one that doesn't tint/darken my screen. This one does tint/darken the screen a little (although the gloss side darkens less than the matte side). 2) Magnetic: yes it does easily attach and is easily removed. No adhesive to damage the screen. However the magnets are only in the top corners. At the bottom corners the screen is not attached at all and ends up not laying flush to the screen, which results in blur towards the bottom. Given how thin the magnets are, it is beyond me why they dont simply add magnets in all 4 corners. It seems (to me) like the lid would still close, but perhaps I am wrong about this. Or if not in the corners at least extend the magnets further down the sides to provide better attachment and keep the screen flush. Did they test their product before manufacturing it?? 3) Lid closure: yes, the lid closes fine, even with the added layer of a keyboard cover. I am using both at the same time and it doesnt *seem* to be an issue. 4) I am finding that when opening the lid, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the screen in place. It falls off sometimes. Annoying but not a huge deal. Magnets in all 4 corners would surely solve this. 5) Glare: as mentioned, one side is matte (no glare) and probably best for use outdoors. It does darken the screen noticeably. The other side is glossy. It doesnt darken the screen as much but is better indoors or in places where glare is not a problem. I at least like that I can easily flip it over depending on where I am and so have a choice about it. If I could find a better option I would return this, but so far as of writing this review I have not.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I was really nervous because of all of the different types that are similar and reviews saying some are good and some are bad. Honestly, this is exactly what I was looking for. Installation was like 1 second, the magnets just allow it to clip into place. It doesn't hang at the bottom which I was surprised at given it doesn't have magnets, but it clings to the screen. I can close the lid fully and the MacBook Pro 14" goes to sleep. I honestly can't even tell it is installed when the lid is closed. And the field of view is great! people sitting on either side of me cannot clearly see or read what I am typing, you have to be about dead on in the middle to see. I HIGHLY recommend! Would buy again!

This gives you zero privacy!!! OK unless your on the other side of the computer and cant see the keyboard! Not worth your money!! Big mistake!
