*UPDATED COMMENTS BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW* For years, I have been using one of those shower CD/radio units. The unit is big and heavy, and the six C batteries drain after three or four CDs. I've been looking for a better way to enjoy my music for a year or two now, but I never could find one. Well, now I have! I recently received my first, true "smart phone" as a gift, and decided to see what a wireless bluetooth speaker could do for me. After checking the reviews on Amazon, I decided to go with this unit from iFox creations, and boy am I glad that I did! The sound is very good! Now, keep in mind that this is a single small, waterproofed speaker, so don't expect sound on a full-sized stereo speaker level, but nonetheless I was very impressed with the quality, including the fact that it has some nice bass. Even more impressive is how powerful it is: you can really crank up the volume on the speaker and it just sounds better! Also keep in mind that this is a truly waterproof speaker (i.e., not just water resistant), so you don't need to fear it getting wet. "Pairing" the unit with my smartphone was also very easy to do: it really was little more than a two-step process of turning on the speaker, pairing it via my smartphone and done. Lastly, I was VERY impressed by the quality of the customer service. Right after ordering the product, I received an email thanking me for my purchase and setting me up with a customer service rep just in case I had a problem. Since then I have gotten an additional email (don't worry, this isn't spam) answering common questions and reminding me that help is always available if needed. Considering my nephew recently purchased a different wireless speaker where customer service has taken TWO WEEKS between answering his questions, the customer service of iFox is really impressive. Long short: I love this speaker. So much so that I think I will be purchasing their other, non-shower model for my den! Highly recommended. UPDATE: Some bad news, some good news. The bad news is that my unit failed after roughly two months of use. Not sure why; the unit just wouldn't turn on no matter how long I charged it (and the red charge light would never go out even after many hours of charging). So I contacted iFox customer service for some help. Frankly, I expected to receive one of those useless auto-emailed troubleshooting FAQs back, followed by a reluctant offer for me to send the unit back for a replacement. Instead, I quickly received a reply from an actual human being who apologized profusely for the unit failing, and then promptly sent me a new unit that arrived two days later! In this day and age, that is outstanding customer service. While I am disappointed that I encountered a problem with my iFox so quickly (which sounded great to the day it failed), the excellent customer service I received more than made up for the inconvenience. Hence, I will keep my review at five stars.

Nothing to complain about product or service... exactly as described. Works very well and has a nice and decent sound for the size. Very easy to pair and control too. So far a happy customer with this one. --UPDATE on 12/04/2015-- I have never edited any reviews before, but felt absolutely compelled to do so on this case. I'll be short. After using the speaker for a while on the shower, I wasn't careful enough and did not attach it firmly with the suction cup. Unfortunately it fell from about 1,5m high. It cracked a bit on the base of the suction cup, and although the led will light up and it will charge, it won't turn on or work anymore. This happened a couple of months ago and I was preparing to go after repairing or exchanging it somehow. Today I decided to do something about it and sent a mail to iFox Creations, explaining my bad fortune (or maybe carelessness) and asked them for suggestions on fixing or maybe replacing it with a new one (I proposed sending mine back to them). At this point, two things happened: - their site inform they take an average 24 hours to respond. In my case, took them less than 2 hours - they went straight to the point. I paste here their complete reply: "Hello Marcelo, Thank you for your e mail and I am sorry your speaker has broken. I would love to send you a replacement immediately as a gift from us. If this is acceptable to you please let me know your original Amazon order number and the address you would like it sent to and I will work on it today for you. Kind regards, Margo Dillon" I'm not sure I should paste their reply here (for different reasons), but I asked them that on one of my replies and they did not comment on it. Therefore, since it's all good anyways, I want to do it. After the first reply by them, I still add more: - I live in Brazil and picked up the product on one of my business trips earlier this year. I was not sure they could post it to Brazil so gave them both my address and that of a friend in the US. Again, they responded quickly in less than 1 hour (!!!), and mentioned not being able to send it to Brazil, but that they had posted it to my colleague in the US. - they replied more than once, extremely fast - they posted a new unit, free of charge, as a gift - they actually came through on the promise of resolving it on the same day (who does that??) In summary, I am stunned. Very cool and competent product in general. I now add to it unbelievable customer support (I had never seen anything like it before). Also made sure to include the name of who addressed my case here (again not sure if there's any problem doing it). She was fantastic and I just couldn't believe it. Will for sure be recommending the products and looking forward to other additions myself from iFox Creations. If you're looking for such a product, look no more.

It is different from the images displayed. Charging socket is rusted. Buttons are not smooth and the suction is total usless, it doesn't still to any surface.

Broke after a couple of uses

Great little speaker. I use mine mainly to listen to my audio book when I get in the shower each morning. This really helps with focusing my mind on what I need to be focusing on instead of being submerged in the constant stream of mind created stories in thought form that I currently wake up with... (each day now slightly less as a result!). Invaluable, especially when combined with 'The Power Of Now' by Erkhart Tolle! Highly recommend both together if you're having the same problems!! The suction cup is great and if you're worried like I initially was you can attach the clip to the shower poll too for added peace of mind in case of sudden bangs in the middle of the night... though not needed the backup so far! Bluetooth connection is really fast to connect and generally extremely clear and reliable. My only very slight negative is that very very occasionally (it seems like) after a long silence the very first letter of the first word is missing as its spoken (maybe just signal via Bluetooth or something?). However it is hardly noticeable and if you're listening to music you wouldn't notice at all as it's got really good sound quality and responsiveness overall. If I could design one additional feature I would include a digital screen which would show who's calling when the phone rings, but for the price I have no complaints AT ALL!

Bought this in December 2021 and it continues to work great. Used almost every day in the shower and from the time we stuck it to the wall almost a year ago we've had no problems with it staying put. It's probably used about 20 mins a day and needs to be recharged about 2 times per month. Charging outlet is protected with a rubber hinge that allows easy plug in for quick recharge - about 3.5 hours. Sound quality is really good in my opinion considering it is stuck on a wall in a 6x8 ft. shower stall. We use it on fairly low volume because of the small space it is in but it can be cranked up quite high.
