Exactly as described and excellent packaging which survived despite deliverer throwing the box/ parcel over the gate on a very wet night. We did not find it till the following morning.

Large sturdy nice looking slate labels for plants that shouldnt blow away or get lost. I will certainly buy more if I need them.

Lovely markers, imagine they will look great in the garden. Unfortunately 2 arrived broken and the only option to ‘make it right’ is to return the lot which seems wasteful as they will no doubt break even more on their own way back and the replacements will be broken too! Decided I’ll just keep them and take the loss but some sort of voucher as compensation would have been nice.

I was very pleased with the packaging and delivery of this item. The markers are far better than I imagined after reading some reviews. I haven't used them in my herb pots outside yet because I am hoping to label them with vinyl text rather than rely on chalk pens so I cannot advise on the chalk pense. Will probably buy more as they would make a super gift for gardening friends. These are the stakes with permanent vinyl added and I am pleased withthe effect. Will report back when they have been out in the weather for a good period of time but will certainly purchase again My original markers have been outside for a couple of years and are still as good as new. The second photo is of my latest bath of markers for a friend who is moving house. I will be purchasing more of these as they make a lovely gift.

I've always preferred using slate plant markers over wood, copper or plastic for a number of reasons, but mainly because of the durability, and that I can use a Dremel Multitool (available on Amazon) to grind the plant name into the label, as pen and chalk wash off or fade in the sun. It is the first time I have used Maison & White Store labels, and it definitely won't be the last. For a start the price is unreal compared to what I normally pay; I normally get a pack of 6 for the same price as this pack of 20 (at the time of review this pack cost £12.49). They are also around 1" longer than my usual brand, so I have more space to write the plant name on. The labels came in very good secure packaging (strong cardboard box, with protective foam inside). The label thickness does vary a little, but that is the nature of slate. Very happy, and will definitely purchase more in the future.
