vanicream products arrived quickly. I've been using them for a week now. They are gentle on the skin while doing their job. A surprise to me is that I need very little of each product to do the job. I am allergic to all metals and these products are free and clear per the patch testing I had done. I swim 5 days a week and love these products. I feel the shampoo and conditioner helps my color stay in my hair better. I love the body wash also as really feels nice and does not seem to make my skin dry.

After working as a hairstylist for almost 20 years I have developed a sensitivity to shampoo. I noticed it started this year, breaking out on my hands and my scalp itching. I even had to start wearing gloves at the shampoo bowl when shampooing clients. I decided to do some research and found the brand Vanicream which is free from the most common allergens. I bought the set with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I have always been kind of a snob when it comes to shampoo, and I am very particular about what I like. What I liked about Vanicream's shampoo is that it has a good lather, no noticeable fragrance, and did not feel irritating to my skin. I think I should mention that it seems to be more clarifying than moisturizing. This shampoo would be perfect for fine or oily hair. If your hair is very dry or damaged then this might not be the best shampoo for you. Also, the bottle mentions that it is color-safe, but I did notice my color faded a bit after my first shampoo. I would owe this to the clarifying nature of this shampoo. It isn't a professional product so it isn't as concentrated as what I'm used to, but I wouldn't call it watery either. I liked the conditioner better than the shampoo. It pairs well with the shampoo because you will need a little extra moisture after the clarifying shampoo. This is a good moisturizing conditioner that isn't too heavy. I would say that it is good for all hair types. If you have very coarse or dry, damaged hair then you might need something heavier, but I think most people would be happy with this. The conditioner also had no noticeable smell and was not irritating. The body wash was also gentle on the skin. It had a good lather and no weird smells. It didn't make my skin feel dry or itchy. I don't have a lot to say about it. It was a no-frills unscented body wash. It was what it was supposed to be. Hopefully, this review was helpful to someone!

This stuff really works well in keeping my exema under control and moisturizes the skin too. It is a very smooth lotion that doesn't irritate my skin even in excema scatchy irritated areas. Works great for me.

Do you have sensitive skin (even on your scalp)? If the answer is yes, this is a fantastic product! I am 42 years old and suddenly have many, many skin issues. I had to go to the dermatologist just to find out what was causing me to scratch my skin off. I found out I’m allergic to certain fragrances and chemicals that they put in shampoo, conditioner, and soap of all kinds. The dermatologist recommended Vanicream. I immediately came home and researched the product. I was hesitant because of the price (which is why I put the low rating score on value for money). This is very expensive! I’ve never seen (or heard) about this product before. Although it was very costly, I thought I’d try it. This set includes a bottle of all three products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). The bottles are not very large. Having said that, “a little goes a long way”. You don’t have to use a ton of it to get a good lather going on. There is 100% no smell to this product (which is a first for me). I find this very interesting! It literally has NO smell! As mentioned, it lathers very well. The conditioner does leave your hair tangled which I wish wasn’t thrilled about! It doesn’t leave it looking greasy, though! This brand also includes other products. I use the deodorant and lotion as well (I will be leaving a review on those shortly). Anyway, I have been using the products now for about a month. I have been very pleased with everything except the cost. My skin doesn’t itch near as bad as before. It seems to work for my very sensitive skin! Honestly, I agree with the dermatologist. It’s a great product! It’s just costly.
