Nocciolata Organic Hazelnut Spread, 9.52 oz

The good: compared to Nutella it's less sweet, smoother, and more hazelnutty. It's exactly what I was looking for. Also, it contains no palm seed oil which makes it far easier to digest and healthier IMO. The bad: it's pricey BUT if you want to taste a really great hazelnut chocolate spread, this is it.

Can I give this 10 stars? I know it’s a small jar for the cost, the flavor though... it is beyond better than Nutella. It is thick, full of hazelnut flavor and a hint of the chocolate. I feel Nutella is runny compared and is stronger in chocolate flavor. I had been told about this by friends from Rome and I’m so glad I finally tried it- I would def get this again

Delicious, so fresh tasting with none of the chemical taste of nutella.. a great treat

I did a blind taste test with a couple friends to find a Nutella replacement that didn't use palm oil (for ethics/sustainabilty reasons). The four of us came to a nearly perfect consensus. We didn't directly compare against "real" Nutella directly but picked the ones we thought were closest. Nocciolata's product was a close -- but clear -- second place. It's completely delicious but tended towards more chocolatey flavor vs. hazelnuts. The overall ranking of our five sampled products was: 1-Caffarel Hazelnut Creations Cremosa 2-Nocciolata w/ Cocoa and milk 3-Caffarel Gianduia Cream Hazelnut Spread 4-Nocciolata Dairy Free 5-Good Galaxy Hazelnutty

I love this! I had been buying it from a health food store where I used to live but haven’t seen it recently. I was so glad when I found it on Amazon. It tastes just like Nutella but a bit healthier, although it has a ton of sugar.

Great customer service. The hazelnut spread does not disappoint. So yummy! It’s refreshing to see there are still real foods out there. Bravo Sebago Foods.
