BLACK+DECKER 12 Volt NiCAD Battery, 1-2/5-Amp Hour ( PS130)

This part works as expected and provides power during a long time before a recharge is required. The original battery that came with the drill failed and was not able to maintain charge anymore, so I wanted to get a new battery before throwing the drill away. Works well now and allows me to do every job I want. Good product, and better than the original product.

I would have thrown my DeWalt drill away if I had to buy the DeWalt batteries. But these are cheap enough that I kept the drill. There is a little plastic tab that needs to be trimmed with a knife so that the battery fits, but otherwise the batteries are just like the originals. I've been using mine for well over a year.

Needed to replace the power pack on my 10 year-old drill and was unable to locate this battery at any local retailer. After doing a couple of web searches, I found this on Amazon.com, and the price was the cheapest. Amazon Prime free shipping was the cherry on the topping. This works like a charm. Does not come with the charger; however, your existing one should work just fine.

I have a B&D Quantum Drill that I purchased many years ago. Used it regularly until the 12 Volt battery finally gave out. I looked everywhere for a replacement battery but with no luck. Seems B&D changed the design of their batteries and none of their newier batteries would fit. Finally someone told me to try a PS130 Firestorm battery which I found on Amazon and placed an order. Good price, fast delivery and it looked to be an exact replacement for the Quantum battery. Charged it up, plugged it in and it's worked great ever since. New life for my old drill. Very Satisfied!

I had a very old Black and Decker drill set that no longer would charge the battery. I was pretty sure all I really needed was a new battery, but just to save time, I ordered both the battery and a new charger. As it turned out, it was the battery, but because the instructions warn you that a failed battery can ruin a charger, I was glad I bought both. Now, my drill set hold the charge for months, and it works great.

I am an engineer and have owned a lot of battery operated drills. I have two of these and 3 batteries. When new, this low power drill was fine for a lot of small jobs. However, the batteries have not lasted long and no longer hold a charge at all. The price of the batteries alone does not justify the cost of buying them, since you can now buy a 14.4 volt or higher drill with 2 batteries and charger for just a little more. You will have more power. If you just like this drill for some reason, then 25 bucks for a replacement battery is not a bad deal. It is just that there are so many better drills with better power now available. Listen to the other reviewers who are recommending other drills. I will be buying a different drill and getting rid of my two.

The replacement battery for my Black and Decker Firestorm drill was perfect. The drill has been the most dependable drill I have ever owned. It is lightweight and has just the right amount of power for my everyday maintenance needs. I use it several times a week and for that reason I decided to purchase a new battery instead of a new drill. I am looking forward to many more years of use just by replacing the battery.

Perfect.... Glad I kept that drill for 5 years... Was going to throw it out.... Problem is the battery cost me more than the drill was worth... But having a spare working wireless drill is always a good thing...

I needed to get another battery for my Black & Decker drill since the drill itself was in great condition. After checking different suppliers I noticed this one on Amazon. The price and the delivery are what sold me on it. After receiving it I immediately noticed the quality was really good. I put it in the drill, charged it up and it had been performing just as it did before...flawlessly. If you have a similar drill that needs the OEM battery to be replaced, this is your solution. I would buy another one if I had to.

I'm so happy to be able to replace the battery for my multi-tool - I kept being told it was cheaper to just buy a new tool as replacing rechargeable batteries was expensive; it's not true in this case - it would have cost at least 3 times what I paid for the battery to get a new drill, reciprocating saw, and sander. I know there are higher volt batteries, but this meets my needs, as the occasional crafter/repairman; plus it's not as heavy This battery was packed well, and was delivered quickly; it is already charged for its next use

Fits my B@D drill and works well. Only small thing is that it is slightly thicker than the original battery and so doesn't fit in the box It the drill came n.

This battery is far stronger than the original. Other then that I would have to use it for a full cycle and recharge. Ask me in a few months of use.
