Drawing Nature for the Absolute Beginner: A Clear & Easy Guide to Drawing Landscapes & Nature

This is a good instructional sketch book so far, but probably not for someone who has never sketched before. (Just my personal opnion) I did a bit of sketching when I was young, but no basic training such as starting with basic shapes & improving from there.

An excellent primer workbook for getting started with drawing nature. Plenty of clear examples and instructions in a user friendly format. Plus, it's printed in black ink (as opposed to pale gray ink that you can't see, let alone read.) My only comment is, I would have preferred a slightly larger type size. Other than this, I can highly recommend this book for your art library.

Good step by step illustrations from beginning to end for the various nature projects. You will learn something from this book.

Great book very informative.

This is a really good entry level, or maybe second drawing book. Gives basics as well as specifics for drawing nature. I found it VERY helpful. I've had plenty of drawing books, before but most were either some basics and then onto something else, or more advanced stuff on nature. This is basics for drawing outdoor settings. Which was EXACTLY what I needed.

Easy to follow and learn.

The corner was damaged. It is for special present. Maybe a wrapper could have protected it. Otherwise, happy with the book.

Good product

A very good book with plenty of inspirational drawings and ideas. The first two chapters explain technique and art principles such as perspective and composition and the exercises provide plenty of opportunity for mastering tone. A good buy.

I have never drawn before but following the book was easy and I am now confident drawing will become a new activity for me.

I have been practicing drawing from this book for the last many months. It really helped me to get better at drawing. I bought this book because I wanted to learn drawing by drawing nature.

A lot of content and lots of easy practice. For those looking for advanced drawing techniques you will be slightly disappointed. Don't be put of thinking this is just for kids, it's not.
