simplehuman 5" Round Rechargeable Mini Travel Sensor Makeup Mirror (2014 Model, Discontinued), 10x Magnification, Brushed Stainless Steel

This is my third simple human travel 10x mirror, I forgot what happened to the first, it was decades ago, but I did at first return it to the shuttered BB&Beyond store cause I thought the sensor was broken, or I was a vampire and no one told me, cause it turned off while I was using it constantly like there's no refection there..but the next one same deal, and I started hearing from others same thing, but the mirror & light quality is unrivaled with this mirror, if it wasn't believe me I'd switch to another brand pronto..so I just moved my second one to my rented gym locker and bought the third one for home here, works great so far (aside from the sensor natch) and at least these latter models have the dim down feature before they go off so I can use the free hand to wave like an idiot and pop the light back up, the first model would just go off completely in my face, in the middle of tweezing or makeup, almost insulting, very frustrating, I actually think that's why they added the dim down phase before it goes off...but anyway now moving number two to my gym locker makes me really appreciate the portability of it, such a well designed mirror, cept for the wonky sensor as usual..would I LOVE an on/switch instead? of course, but like I say, the glass & light quality are unrivaled..

This is a great mirror that’s portable and has a very nice sturdy case. The magnification is wonderful and the motion censored light makes it so much easier to use. This is my second one, my first one still works and lasted about 10 years but has to be kept plugged in to work. I’m excited I got the same exact one, it has far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.

I had to repurchase this product because my travel bag with my old one was stolen but I owned this mirror for over 7 years and it still charged and worked great! I adore this thing for travel and the mirror quality is fantastic. It's sleek and is perfectly compact for travel and the brightness is also perfection. The mirror is stable but my old one loosened up a bit over time but can't complain much because it was used over and over. I also have dropped it on the floor before and it did not break so these are very well made. Not cheap for a small mirror but I cannot stop raving how amazing these are for putting on false lashes and makeup. I crack up because I had a friend look in this mirror and say "I had no idea I had a uni brow" lol this mirror shows it all.

I purchased this mirror five years ago. It’s been great, does exactly what it’s supposed to do and packs neatly in the well designed travel case. Recently I noticed that the mirror had started to come away from the base. On inspection I realised it was due to the battery underneath swelling up and pushing the mirror off. I was a bit concerned about potential safety issues so contacted Simple Human to ask what I should do. I was hoping I could get it repaired. Simple Human customer service contacted me straight away and after confirming some purchase and product info offered me a brand new replacement. It arrived within two days. I don’t think I’ve ever come across such swift fair customer service.

The optical properties and build quality of this mirror are exceptional, like most SImplehuman products. It's the best magnifying mirror I've ever seen. It does not work for me, for two reasons. One, the light is very bright. It provides a clean and natural light. But it is too bright for my eyes. I am very light sensitive and sunlight bothers my eyes too. Second, it is heavy - too heavy for me to pack in a carry-on bag where weight is very important. Otherwise, it's a great mirror and the case is awesome.

I purchased this mirror TWICE, pathetically having to use my own money for EACH MIRROR THAT BROKE in LESS than ONE YEAR & was NOT taken care of by Simple Human as I purchased at least one of them directly from Simple Human. The MIRROR, being STILL CONNECTED to the 'BAR' BROKE OFF about 3/4"-1" FROM THE MIRRORS BASE & ALSO STOPPED & WILL NOT CHARGE UP IN ANY MANNER, WITH ANY TYPE OF CHARGING MECHANISM, EVEN WIRELESS. SO I purchased another mirror, EXACTLY THE SAME ONE, because I loved the mirror so very much, and believed it was just a fluke, so I used some money I put aside (I USE TO SPEND JUST on my 3 YEAR old GRANDDAUGHTER who LIVES OVER 3 THOUSAND MILES AWAY FROM ME)💰 to purchase the mirror yet again. It's truly a superb mirror that meets ALL of my needs! THAT'S HOW I RATIONALIZED PURCHASING IT. BUT... It arrived great, still had a charge, and when it needed to be charged, MIRROR WOULD NOT CHARGE WITH ANY TYPE OF CHARGING MECHANISM. I EVEN CHARGED ONCE FOR 10 DAYS STRAIGHT & STILL NO CHARGE. SO, DUE TO getting (AGAIN, NO SATISFACTION FROM Simple Human & I'm stuck with 2 VERY EXPENSIVE BROKEN TRAVEL MIRRORS BY SIMPLE HUMAN. WHO CAN I SEND THEM TO FOR PROPER REFUSE? WE have numerous Simple Human items in our home, if we're EVER GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO GET A FREE REPLACEMENT OF AT LEAST ONE MIRROR, WE WOULD LIKELY STOP NOT PURCHASING & BEGIN TO BECOME A CUSTOMER ONCE AGAIN. I possibly purchased one of mine on Amazon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MIRROR UNDER THE EXISTING CIRCUMSTANCES I'M IN. IF ANYTHING CHANGES, I WILL ABSOLUTELY UPDATE THIS ACCORDINGLY. All my details are available, I've been a Prime member for many years now. Please help me out.

Absolutely love this mirror! I travel a lot and SO needed a new magnified makeup mirror. This is the perfect size for travel! The fact it comes with a hard case and is rechargeable makes it even better! It was a little pricey but Simplehuman products always are. You get what you pay for.

This is a very useful and beautifully designed illuminated magnifying makeup mirror which serves its intended purpose. You can’t do better than serving your purpose I say!
