I am so excited. My family is getting together this weekend so we can play this game. It gives us many options to learn how to play including D&D groups to join online. As well as extras to help me learn the game more. And if you are silly like I am and didn't realize that some of the extras are printable you may feel like you miss out. But you don't. They sent me a card with most of my extras with it. And the card gives 3 options. One of those Awesome options will give you the extras. I also am so grateful I got the bigger pack because the dice are beautiful. I received: a postcard sized paper with 3 options to receive my bonus pack, a paper to show where to go for more D&D fun, my adventure book, my essentials rule book, 7 set of dice, cards (3 combat, 9 Initiative, 9 Character, 9 Quest, 15 Magic Charm, and 35 Magic Item Cards), a box for the cards (see pic), a divider with helpful guides on the other side, a map (sword coast on one side and Phandalin on the flip side), 6 character sheets ( basic info on one side and your characters detail info you write in on the flip side (examples are attacks and spell casting and flaws etc) . I really like how this seems like a complete pack to learning the game it's perfect for what I want. To teach my husband and I how D&D gameplay is. As well to see if we can get others interested to keep a weekly game going. I hope I didn't miss anything on what this nicely put together essentials pack gives you. I did notice they have a starter pack as well, but I believe both games are learner games. After we play I will come back of we decide that it is NOT for a starter game. and if I don't than the game was perfect for learning D&D

Bought for my son's bday and him and his friends had a blast

My son is getting into D&D and I wanted to get something with some decent starter material. Coming with 7 sets of dice this makes it extremely easy to get games going right away. Not to mention campaigns already ready already. If you're looking for s great starter set, this is the one you want!

Excellent for starting playing DnD. Fun for kids.

Excellent value with the sets of dice (very nice quality) and everything you need to start your adventure. The module though - I'm not sure beginning players need that much backstory. That last part of the module - the tower and the big fight. You don't need pages of behind the scenes story. Let's get this over with, chief! I don't care who loved who - gimme my xps!

I like how many dice sets are included in this package. the directions are easy to follow for beginners and give greats tips and advice as well as resources to look into if you want to take your gaming a step furthers. costumer service was kind and helpful. would recommend

Such a fantastic treasure of a box. I saw the description of the items contained in the box...however when you open it and see it in your hand...that is another level of happiness altogether. So yes, worth the money, great quality, arrived before schedule, maps different from the PDF we had, Quest cards of a good quality, I would name it Hidden Treasure Starter Essentials Kit .. just Good-Good stuff ❤
