It is an ideal measuring tool for DIY homework and professional work task. MEASUREMENT CAUTION: 1. Do not move the unit during measuring. 2. Taking measurements through glass are not possible. 3. Taking measurements on sound-absorbing surfaces are not possible. 4. Wind can lead to faulty measurements. 5. Pay attention to obstructions between the measuring tool and the target surface. 6. When approaching the max measured distance, actual measurements may have some errors. WALL SCANNER DETECTOR CAUTION: 1. Please remember that studs or joists are normally spaced 406mm or 610mm apart and 38mm in width. Anything closer together of a different width may not be a stud, joist or rebar. 2. Anytime when you find a stud, use AC detecting mode to verify it is a hot wire or not. 3. When ¡°lighting¡± symbol shows on the LCD screen, that means there is hot wire nearby, do not work in this area. 4. Always turn off power when working near electric wires. 5. To avoid interference, keep your free hand and other objects at least 6in.(15cm) away from the tool. 6. The detected edges may be wider than the actual stud edges. LASER LEVEL CAUTION: 1. Do not stare your eyes to the laser beam. 2. Never aim the beam at any person or an object other than the work piece. 3. Always align the bubble vial in middle position when using laser level function. 4. When use in daytime, be sure to close the curtain.
