Bought the small glow in the dark ball for my daughter's hampster. Perfect size, and is very visible at night, as long as its left out in the light during the day. Closes security, dont have to work about rodents getting out. Good quality and highly recommend.

This is perfect for my hedgehog! He is about a yr old and he loves this thing. Goes all over the place with it. He does pee in it though so be careful and never leave them unattended. I clean the wheel after each use by rinsing in the sink and thoroughly air drying.

My hamster is too big for this ball but the ball itself is amazing. It does get stuck sometimes but all you have to do is hit it a little bit but my hamster has tried to chew itself out and it could not

I purchased the Kaytee 13” Clear Run-About Ball for my two chinchillas, and it’s been a fantastic addition to their playtime routine! The size is perfect – large enough for them to move around comfortably without feeling cramped, which can be a problem with smaller exercise balls. The build quality is solid, and it feels much sturdier than other brands I’ve tried in the past. I especially appreciate the secure locking lid – once it clicks in, I know my pets are safe and won’t accidentally get out. It’s also surprisingly easy to clean, which is a big plus. My chinchilla seem to enjoy the freedom and stimulation this ball provides. They get their energy out safely, and I get peace of mind knowing they’re contained while exploring. offering ample space, safety features, and durability. However, it’s essential to consider the specific needs of chinchillas before use. Always ensure the ball is securely closed and monitor your pet during playtime to ensure their safety and comfort. The design allows for straightforward cleaning, maintaining hygiene for pets. but the only thing i don't really like this is it challenging to open the ball, especially when trying to remove pets after playtime.

Pros: Clear is much better the see through than the color tinted Kaytee exercise balls, has one opening, easy to clean, and bought it on sale. Cons: Thin, flimsy plastic, the lid pops off, and it doesn't seem durable. In comparison to the colored Mega Run-About 13" Exercise Balls I had in the past from a pet store, these clear ones are cheap, flimsy, and definitely not worth more than $20. The colored ones I had in the past, not sure if the design is still the same, were strong these clear ones are much thinner, bendable, and I'm sure it will crack and break much faster than the colored Kaytee mega exercise balls I had for over 8+ years. One nice thing in comparison to the color ones is that this design in the past was that there were two openings for your pet, this one has only one which is better but not by much since the stupid lid still falls off just like the other ones did if they were bump into any object. The solution to this problem was always to use a little bit of duct tape or large scotch tape over the lid. However, this exercise ball is great for my young chinchilla male who is a bit on the petite side and more gentle whereas my large chinchilla girl is more rough during playtime and would probably break this easily by running into a wall or chair. This was good enough for the price I bought it for but I wouldn't consider buying another one of these in the future should the one I have break within the next year. I mainly bought this ball because I wanted my pets to have a clearer view of their surroundings but the quality seems better for the color ones.

Great product. I got the wrong size, but it was quiet, and there were no sharp parts on the ball. Everything help up together, and it was easy to take apart and clean.

Not very chinchilla friendly. Ball gets quite humid and hot fast. Ball came on time and was what I​ was expecting. Useful for maybe 15-20 mins. My 3 chins don't like them.
