Used it for experimenting. Worked for what I needed.

This took longer to put together than I expected. There are basically no instructions, and some of the writing on the relay is in Chinese, and unfortunately I can't read Chinese. So I had to search to figure out which the NO COM and NC ports were. I added a pic of the translation in case it helps someone else. The wires are extremely thin and they break easily while trying to make connections. This would have been nicer to put together if the pump wires were stripped back a little more to begin with. Turns out the wiring diagram for this is wrong. If you connect the pump's red wire to the "NO" aka Normally On port on the relay, as shown in the description picture, the pump will run when the sensor reads wet, and turn off when it reads dry. Attaching the wire to the "NC" aka Normally Closed port instead makes it work as expected. This was an interesting little project, but not suitable for someone who isn't willing to do a lot of independent problem solving.

Here’s a picture of the probe they send since I’m all the pictures it’s just a weird Microsoft paint picture. The probe doesn’t work, and the usb wire serves no purpose? I replaced the probe with a better option and it works fine now. I’d say this package deal is worth 5 bucks as a mess with it and then throw it away kinda thing. But don’t trust it to water your golden apple trees ;)

Wired per schematic on web site. pump runs when ground is excessively wet instead of when ground is dry. Changed connection from Normally Open to Normally Closed solved logic problem except that very high current draw (wires actually got hot!). Overall design is bad!
