12-Pack JACKYLED Non-Shunted Turn-Type T8 Lamp Holder UL Socket Tombstone with 10 inches Wires Attached for LED Fluorescent Tube Replacements

Bought these 5 years ago to update to LED lights for garage. Just ordered more to do ore lights, Easy to use, never had an issue.

Good new bulb holder receptacles, nice quality and was helpful they came with some leads already installed. Made for very nice repair and restoration of older fixtures to accommodate both ballasts and newer led setups.

I never knew the difference between shunted and unshunted. Now I do, yet I'm no wiser. Bought a dozen of these LED Tombstones to upgrade my existing antiquated fluorescent tube fixture. Did a bunch of research before I ordered. Expected a no-brainer installation. WRONG. These parts didn't fit my tombstone holders. No fault of the seller, of course. It's all about no conformity in the industry. Anyways, in the first picture, you see how these fit in my holder. They didn't. Again, no fault of the seller, but they just didn't work for my existing equipment. The second picture shows how I used a mini-grinder to cut the holder back to the depth of the new tombstones. I cut partway through the end of the slot I needed and folded it back, crimping it with a pair of vice-grips. Picture 3 shows the cut and folded holders. Picture 4 shows the new tombstones fitted nicely into the holder. Not perfectly, but close enough. Picture 5: Finally the test. The LED tubes fit nicely into the new tombstones and my jusry rigged test was a success. The bottom line is these parts are worth the investment and do the job flawlessly. Can't blame the seller. Dimensions were provided on the listing. However, be prepared to jury rig your existing equipment if you want to make them work in your equipment.

Great replacement for my existing "expired and deteriorating" light fixture. Pre-cut wires worked well with WAGO 221 connectors. I ordered 18 of them and one was thrown out because of loose wires.

These worked great at replacing some florescent tube shop lights that unfortunately got broken by a 2 x 4. The wires are plenty long and with two spots to connect on each side, they were easy to rewire the same way the commercial ones had been. Made fixing the shop lights a breeze. No flickering, worked great.

Good lamp holders for a reasonable cost. Product would be better if there was a designed access to release the wire for repositioning or changing wire color.

Well I got these and they "work" mostly. They are very flimsy and the copper connectors inside some of the tombstones was so floppy, they did not connect to the ends of my light tubes. I had to wiggle and fight for the connections to remain good when I put in my bulbs. I'm using these for a light box so once set and installed..the bulbs SHOULD stay in place...time will tell. Also there is NO instructions for these so be sure you read up elsewhere on how to install them. Also there is NO mounting hardware of any kind...no screws, no sticky tabs, nothing. So you are on your own when attempting to install them and attach to your application . Also be aware...I thought you could 'daisy chain' these together and apply power to one and have power flow to each other by connecting the wires into the holes at the base of each tombstone. Well that didn't work for me...so I had to run power to each one separately. It all worked out....but maybe I ordered the wrong ones? I don't know...but my light box is now MUCH brighter with LED tubes instead of old florescent bulbs!

Overall these sockets are very good. I would have given them a 5 star rating except that the leads are a bit short. When rewiring a 4 tube fixture the leads were barely long enough to go through the hole provided in the socket housing. Another 5 or 6 inches on both the black and white leads would have been very helpful. I would gladly pay a bit extra for the additional length of lead. Very short sighted on the manufacturer’s part.

It takes longer to receive than the bulbs so you're bulbs sit there while you wait for Tombstones other than that good product
