I just love it. I've used a lot of mice and this one finally fits me.
I guess most people -- especially in America -- have fairly large hands. Let me open with: this is not the mouse for you if you do. A lot of mice from competitors like Razer are almost famously large. This falls into a class of mice that are, thankfully, designed smaller for people like myself who do not have large hands. The biggest difference in design is a bit hard to explain. There's a sort of small hump in the middle of the sides. If you use a claw grip it really makes a huge difference for grip and comfort. It's ever so slightly longer and less wide than some of its predecessors, but seems to have struck a pretty good balance. All in all I found myself going from getting hand pains with my previous mice when using the mouse too much to this one actually all but completely eliminating that. It can work both with the USB cable plugged in and from an internal battery. Unlike most of its wireless predecessors, this one finally uses an internal lithium ion battery, so no more putting AA or AAA batteries in. This is not only more convenient, but it also means it is, overall, lighter than it would be if it used them. The difference is relatively subtle, but nice. Though of course it may be more inconvenient if you don't charge it once in a while. As for battery life, I saw the review saying it was terrible and absolutely cannot agree. It says three days, but I guess that means three days of heavy use because with a more normal use (gaming some hours every day but otherwise mostly using it for web browsing, streams, etc etc) I'm finding the battery level hasn't actually dropped much at all. It probably means literally three days -- as in 72 hours -- of constant use. But no one is continuously moving and clicking for 72 hours, so the real life result is much longer. The wireless functionality is, as expected, excellent. I can't notice even the slightest hint of latency even in high speed FPS games where tiny differences truly stand out. This may come down to it using a custom receiver, which I suppose could be a problem if you lose it, but modern Bluetooth protocols are pretty low latency these days too, so I think it's safe to say that wireless mice for gaming are here now and latency just simply is not a concern anymore. That said, you can still plug it in. If you plug it in it will not use the battery saving features like turning off the LEDs (or whatever else you may have set it to do) if you don't use it for a while. It's worth noting here that if you plug it into an external USB charger rather than your PC this means the lights stay on even after the computer has shut off (which can potentially interfere with sleeping, so something to bear in mind) but it is interesting that it continues to work wirelessly even while plugged in to USB power.

Spectacular Engineering in a Mouse, by a Company with Integrity
I love this mouse. I loved it right when I bought it during summer of 2020. The only gripe I ever had with it was the scroll wheel would seem to jump in unexpected ways.. wasn't the end of the world but mildly annoying nonetheless. So I put it up with it for a long time, all the while assuming the issue was some problem in how I configured the drivers on my machine, or a mismatch in settings I had made somewhere. Periodically, I'd try to resolve the issue but never quite got it working properly, and then I'd get busy with work and forget for another month. It wasn't until recently that I was using the mouse on another OS that I realized I was experiencing the same issue in a completely different environment with different drivers. At this point it clicked - "Wow. Maybe this has been a hardware issue all along." I immediately emailed ROCCAT and explained my situation. Knowing I was well outside of the 90 day warranty (EDIT: I thought it was 90 days at the time, it’s actually 2 or 3 years!), I simply asked them if they knew of any DIY fixes I might apply that could resolve the unintended behavior. I received a reply within 12 hours from a representative named Sascha, who was most helpful. Sascha gave me a couple of things to try, like resetting the mouse and doing a fresh firmware installation - which did actually make an improvement, it just didn't fix it entirely. Nonetheless, when I reported back to Sascha that this was the case, the next reply was an RMA number and a message saying expect to have a replacement within 14 days after my shipping notification. In reality, I received my new replacement mouse inside of a week of Sascha's last email. The fact they were so quick to do the right thing (even as I was outside my warranty window) has left an impression on me that I thought was worth writing a review for. I love this mouse on a mechanical level, an ergonomic level, and now I love it knowing the company is brand that has integrity in their customer service, and pride in their products. I will absolutely be buying from ROCCAT again, and I can honestly recommend them to anyone reading this. Thank you Sascha and ROCCAT, I appreciate you! UPDATE: I still love the mouse after another RMA. The first RMA worked flawlessly until December of 2021 when it developed the same issue the first mouse had. I emailed Sascha again in the same thread from nearly a year prior, and again the dude replied immediately. This time I thought there was no way they’d give me an RMA. I was simply asking the rep if they fixed the mechanical issue so that if I buy another one, I won’t have to worry about it. That’s how much I like this mouse - I was going to buy another after it failed with one year of use. Turns out I didn’t have to. Wherever I read the “90 day warranty” when I first was shopping for mice was wrong. It’s actually like a two or three year warranty, and so Sascha wrote me back with another RMA number without me even asking. On mouse #3 everything’s been great so far. I think they might have fixed this issue because this scroll wheel certainly feels better than the other two and Im going on a few months with it.

Nice build quality, RGB and battery life
This mouse is great, the build quality, the weight, and just laying your hand on the mouse feels great. It is large enough for my hands to not get irritated during long gaming sessions, I have had smaller mice that would cramp up my pinky and my ring finger. Battery life is really good, I am using it about 4-5 hours a day and it usually last me about 2 weeks to 2 and a half weeks until I have to recharge it. The RGB is simple and bright. I am not sure if they have a software to control the RGB or dpi and stuff for the mouse, but I would think if they can turn off the RGB you would probably get way longer battery life than 50 hours. There are only two cons that I can think of: 1. When it enters sleep mode you have to press any button to wake it up but when you do so it actuates and if you are on youtube or the cursor is hovering over a link then it will pause the video or enter the link which bugs me when it happens, however when plugged in with usb it does not enter sleep mode so there is no problem there. 2. The only way to charge the mouse is by using the cable that they provide you. It is micro usb, but the cable they included will only attach one way. Having the mouse need a slanted cable makes it harder to charge if you lose the cable or it breaks on you. If this goes on sale again I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless mouse at the $60-$70 range.

Overall good mouse, but has scroll wheel rattle and loose rmb
Overall I like this mouse and will continue to use it for now. Pros: - Comfortable to use, fits my hand like a glove - Good for palm and claw grips - Battery life is good enough - Sensor is good, very responsive, just as fast as wired mice - Scroll wheel is one of the best - Clicks are crisp - Side buttons are easy to press with shorter thumbs - RGB lighting is bright and clean - At 105g, it's not a brick but not too light either. Cons: - I have tried two Kain AIMO 202's, both have scroll wheel rattle and loose right mouse buttons - need to work on that quality control! - I miss the tacky coating used on the kone pure. KAIN 202 performance coating is very slippery when first using it, takes time to build up a good grip, I'd rather have a good grip from the getgo - Wish it had some built in rubber side grips like the Logitech G403 - Swarm software signal strength keeps switching back and forth between good-excellent when the dongle is inches away. - Battery life indicator in Swarm software only shows in increments of 20% - Have to click a button to wake up the mouse, should be able to just move it to wake - The price dropped $15 a few days after I purchased mine, feelsbadman

Amazing mouse but scroll wheel is a deal-breaker
I love this mouse so much. It's hefty, ergonomic (feels awesome in my hand). Good software, DPI settings. Very responsive and accurate. The buttons are *so* satisfying to click and not mushy at all. TBH I don't use the RGB anymore but it was cool when I did. But there's a huge issue with the scroll wheel, and it's not an uncommon one. After awhile, my scrolls become less consistent until eventually scrolling up leads to jittering up and down. I'm not really a heavy gamer or power user and hardly pushed it over the course of the year. I started having this issue and for some time I don't think I really noticed it. Until a few months ago - I was playing Apex Legends with some friends and the guns kept switching around. I kind of chalked it up to being amateur or a glitch at first and just kind of dealt with it. However, when I was playing the Resident Evil Village mercenaries mode and started switching between weapons more often, I noticed they were switching all over the place. Needless to say, that's an awful issue for gaming. It was out of the RMA window and it was out of the Amazon returns window. I watched a YouTube video on taking it apart and bending a piece so that it doesn't happen anymore. It fixed it - for awhile, but it's happening again. The scroll wheel is scrolling inconsistently and sometimes in the wrong direction. Looking at a new mouse now. Even looking at the fan-favorite G Pro X Superlight, I much prefer this mouse for it's buttons, weight, and ergonomics. I love using this mouse so much because I love almost everything else about it, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it... but that darned scroll wheel.

Great mouse, no input lag, great shape and feel
I have been using wired mice for years because I didn't trust that a wireless mouse would not introduce lag into my gaming. This mouse pleasantly surprised me and feels smooth as butter while running wireless. The sensor is top-notch and was a noticeable step up from the wired mouse I was using before (razer abyssus). The lift-off distance can be turned down insanely small to the point you can tilt the mouse and lift one corner and it will count as lift-off (this is a great feature for gaming). The battery life is decent, usually lasts me a week or two, but since the charging is so convenient it might as well not even matter. The zero debounce feature is amazing and makes the mouse feel more responsive than any mouse I've ever used. That being said, if you lift and set the mouse too firmly with zero debounce, you will get some weird effects. After a while you will get used to being more gentle with the lift-off and this side-effect goes away. No complaints so far, this is far superior to the wired mouse I was using before and I don't think I will ever go back.

Avoid this brand, just a new name for Turtle Beach. Awful build quality
100% you should skip this product. I got it for $75, figured a pretty good deal. For the first two months it was fine. But as soon as that return period ends, all of the sudden the scroll wheel dies. Erratic clicking and random scrolling make for a totally useless product. I'm told I now have to dance with Roccat, because the 30 amazon return window is closed. Great. Done the dance for two week now, petty stuff like asking for same information 4x over, asking for same receipt I've sent three times now, I almost feel like I'm on Amazon Prime's version of that prank show at this point. I had their Vulcan keyboard as well, junk as well that didn't last six months. This brand is just Turtle Beach garbage rebranded. Had I know this I would have avoided for sure. Terrible track record of incompetence and it just continues here. Just look on reddit or here to see the numerous issues. Doubt I will ever see my money back either, every foreign service person I've spoken with tries to send me more trash products of theirs, when I'm all set on that garbage. My time is too little to waste speaking with these idiots, just avoid this pain in the ass all together you'll be better off.

Fantastic for Gaming, Highly Recommend!
going wireless on a mouse is something I've wanted to do for a little while now, and I decided to pull the trigger when Roccat had a sale on this, and oh man I am so happy I did! comparing to my old mouse (HyperX Pulsefire Surge), this mouse is a little heavier and a bit bigger, so it took me a little while to get used to it. But once I was adjusted to the new feel it's felt a lot better. the mouse has a really nice matte, smooth finish on it that provides a nice grip. At first I was a bit nervous because there was no rubberized grip and my hand gets a bit sweaty during longer game sessions, but that worry was quickly quelled because of the finish on this mouse. my hand does not slip at all and this mouse is very easy to clean as well in case any small particles find their way onto it. as far as button clicks and scroll wheel goes, this mouse feels extremely responsive and satisfying to click. the scroll wheel is very precise between each tick of the wheel, and the buttons are nice and responsive. the battery life is great. if you're doing extremely long sessions (like, 6+ hours a day), then you may need to charge it a couple times per week, but if you do relatively normal gaming sessions ( say, 3-5 hours), then one full charge will likely last you an entire week. the charging is very fast as well, I'd say I had it wired for about 30 mins before it was fully charged, but it was likely done before that. the wireless connection is great too, there is no noticeable lag compared to when it's wired. the only downside is the Roccat Swarm software. it's not that it's bad, it can just be a bit confusing to navigate if you're new to the software. however, this really isn't any major setback, as most manufacturer softwares are pretty clunky to navigate. overall, I'd highly recommend this mouse to anyone looking to cut the wire for gaming. it is fantastic and looks incredible.
