Very good
It's very good. More tart than other quality maraschino cherries I've tried.

Very good cherrys
If you are expecting the same flavor as a Luxardo cherry, you maybe disappointed. However I would rate them as just as good but they taste a little sweeter and the syrup is a little less thick. But a good substitute and cost less. Not sorry for the purchase.

Sweet, Juicy, and Perfect for Cocktails or Snacking
These cocktail cherries are delicious and high quality. The deep burgundy-red color is rich and inviting, and the flavor is sweet without being overly sugary. They plump up nicely in drinks and add a gourmet touch to classic cocktails like Manhattans or Old Fashioneds. What’s great is that they’re just as tasty straight out of the jar if you want a little snack or dessert topping. The texture stays firm yet juicy, which makes them stand out compared with standard maraschino cherries. Overall, a premium garnish that elevates both cocktails and treats. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a little extra flair and flavor in their drinks.

On par with Luxardo at half the price
So I made two Manhattan's with these cherries. I usually like some cherry juice in my Manhattan and that is more important to me than the actual cherry. I thought the cherry juice in the Peninsula Premium cherries tasted exactly the same as the Luxardo cherries. The cherries themselves were larger, softer and more tart than the Luxardo cherries. It kills me to pay $22 - $24 for a small jar of cherries. Glad I found an alternative for half the price. I might keep an old Luxardo jar and place these cherries in it!

Yum
Half the price of Luxardo cherries and I would say Luxardo are only a hair better. Peninsula cherries are firm in texture with good bite, sweet but with a bit of tart cherry deliciousness. My go-to cherry for cocktails at home.

Good stuff!
I bought these for my 95 year old mom and she really likes them She makes herself a Brandy Manhattan, and it’s just like the restaurant, cherries and juice.

These are a perfect balance of tart and sweet. Have a soft crunch to them. Perfect for on old fashioned (if you like them with a cherry). A lot of people prefer luxardo... but i disagree. The aftertaste and hint of tartness from these to be superior. I have tried a lot of cocktail cherries and these by far are my favorite.

These are not quite as sweet as the Luxardo cherries and seem to have a more complex and pronounced flavour ("cherry squared"?) Still seems like a lot to pay on a 'cost per cherry' basis, but they're good and make drinks better. My wife likes adding the syrup into her Old Fashioneds for extra flavour....

First time buying ''fancy'' cherries so I can't really compare. But personally, I find them a bit too tart(sour) than expected. But love the color, the texture and the flavor. It definitely adds a nice touch to my drinks. I also find them pricy for what it is. Worth the try tho!

These taste great. In comparison to the king of cocktail cherries Luxardo, these are quite comparable. There is a taste difference but I wouldn't say it is not significant. These tend to be a bit larger in size to the luxardo brand and also sweeter. The syrup is also a light colour. Price wise I think these are slightly cheaper than the other brand but not by too much. Regardless these will be better than the neon red cherries that tend to be more prevalent due to the low cost.

These are very tasty and the juice compliments my Old Fashions very nicely. I have to keep my friends from eating them right our of the jar :( I also love the jar they come in...
