Transformers Dual Model Kit DMK01 Optimus Prime (Japan Import)

First off, its a model kit that is very poseable! Not a toy to be man handled and thrust around like some Die Cast monstrosity. It is by far the most superb Optimus Prime effigy out there. The detail is amazing and the articulation is what really makes this kit. Out of the box its very impressive, but once given a custom pain job, this really stands out, in scale and wow factor. If you are going to get this kit, take the time and effort to paint it up. That being said, also glue some of the parts down as they tent to want to pop off when posing and look up online on how to secure the fingers for articulating. They do pop off easily, but dont worry about it cause else is sooooooo worth it. Get this kit if you love this character!

Will be long and arduous to build (7 hrs.), but worth it in the end. Some pieces will come off easily, but super glue will take care of that. Careful with the small pieces when putting them together, otherwise they will break or become lost.

The model was exactly what I had expected. It took me 7 hours to build it and now it stands with my optimus prime collection. It was fun building.

Completed the model last night. Really impressed by how it looks and the end result makes it well worth the effort and time sacrificed to fixing it. Makes me wonder why it took me this long to finally get the DMK-01. I already have the very small and detailed Revoltech DOTM Prime and looking at this, it looks like an enlarged version of the Revoltech figure! Not counting the breaks and a day in between due to work commitments, I took about 7.5hrs fixing it, which I think is the average time needed to fix it up judging by the reviews I've watched and read. Some minor small parts did not really fit well. On mine for instance, the two blue parts on his lower chest where the truck headlights are, for some reason, I can't get them to lock in place. They're in there, but a slight nudge or push on the part and it will drop out. I will likely glue those in place at a later time. The most fragile parts I feel would be the chromed side mirrors of the doors on his chest. They're so thin! Pretty tricky as well to attach those side mirrors onto the doors and the door windows. Even the frame of the doors are thin, so gotta be careful with those. I had no problems with the windshields. I fixed the windshields first before attaching the chest pieces onto the skeleton. Both windshields surprisingly fit in really well and tight. I chose the battle mask face over the open face one. And it does look like its going to be somewhat of a hassle to switch to and fro between the battle mask and the open face as you have to disassemble the entire head. So as I do not want to risk breaking anything, I think it will just stay in its battle mask. I already have the open face on the Buster Prime anyway. Overall, I had fun fixing it and it kept me from getting bored. A very nice display piece. So worth it! Pose it, display it. This is not something to be played with as parts may drop off or break. Looks awesome on display! Very accurate replica of the CGI model used in the movie. Now I feel I should pre-order the DMK-03 Age of Extinction Optimus Prime....hmmm....

detail is great but pieces are small & fragile either they will or have stress marks on them when trying to put them into ther proper place im on armor with prime not sure how takra did it i was pushing applying pressue to windshield it will not stay in place i was psuhin so hard i was givine frame of of piece that glass fis into stress mark. this model will take alot of time & patince to do gundams are easy to put togeather & more stable when complete. my only dissapointement is with prime his hands dont stay togeather when your posing them they fall of easily, its frustrating ot small breakable pices on when you need to apply pressure soemtimes feels your going to break piece completey, & price. you get 2 faces for prime armor face & maskless face with 2 swords pain the *&^% to swtich faces prime doesnt have gun if you like detailed modles that are challnge for you this is for you i put gundam modles togeather 400 plus piece hel with tiney metal screws with no problem prime one is has its problems but very detailed

期待を裏腹に散々な評価ですが、 ある程度ガンプラを作り続けている方には是非お勧めしたいです。 特に本格塗装や部分塗装をなさっている方々にお勧めです。 確かに各パーツのハマり具合がよくなかったり、 折れたりと少々の難点もありますが、 設計の完成度は非常に高く、何よりもガンプラとは全く異なる 超複雑で、まるで立体パズルを組み立てているような感覚は、 これまでのロボ系のプラモデルでは体験できなかったものと言えます。 パーツ毎の形状が特異な上、さらに分かりにくい説明書で、 かなりの苦戦を強いられます。（ストレス度はほぼ１００に近い） おまけに今度のものはＴ３のバージョン（デザインが若干変わっている）なので、 設定画などがネット上でもほとんど見つかりません。 （ホビー系雑誌に掲載しているのも少し違う） 唯一参考にできるのは「映画のポスタービジュアル」なのですが、 これも上半身しか映ってなく、前のものを参考にしていくしかありません。 もう一つの問題は、素組だけではなかなか本物感が演出されないことです。 面倒ではありますが、最低限部分塗装をお勧めします。 大げさなものでなくても、アイアンなどのメタリック系塗料を活用するだけで、 本来の「実写な雰囲気」を再現することができます。 バンブルビーも同様、是非部分塗装をお勧めします。 （でないとパッケージに映っている単なるオモチャにすぎない） 最後に可動性についてですが、これで遊ぼうなんて考えないことです。 関節のユルユルなので、すぐ外れます。 （遊び用としては「特撮リボルテック」を購入しましょう） 特に指が外れやすいのですが、これの対処方法としては、 模型用などの小型ペンチでハメコミの部分を「軽くつぶす」ことで 外れなくなりますので、トライしてみてください。 いろいろと問題はありますが、 完成後の充実感、達成感はすごいものがあります。 （部分塗装の完成まで約４日かかりました） ちなみに大きさですが、 ＭＧとＰＧの中間で、かなり大きいです。 バンブルビーの大きさがＨＧのサイズです。 現在Ｔ３のリアル立体物はおそらくこれが最初で最高のレベルでしょう。 商品化されただけでも奇跡のようなものです。 この「超複雑立体パズル」を、是非ご体験してみてください。

Ich habe diese Actionfigur als Geschenk gekauft. Der Versand erfolgte direkt aus Japan - ich musste also noch etwa 20€ Zoll nachzahlen (wurde direkt von DHL abkassiert). Die Verpackung war wirklich sehr gut und der Versand unglaublich schnell, trotz Weihnachtszeit. Nun mal zu der Figur selbst: Ich gin davon aus, dass es sich um eine fertige Actionfigur handelt, doch weit gefehlt! Geliefert wird ein beweglicher Puppenrohling und etliche Einzelteile sowie eine bebilderte Anleitung (komplett japanisch). Die Einzelteile sind bereits fertig lackiert, sodass der versiere Bastler nur der leicht verständlichen Anleitung Folge leisten muss. Kleber wird ebenfalls nicht benötigt - dafür aber einiges an Fingerspitzengefühl und Geduld, da der Optimus Prime wirklich detailverliebt ist! Alles in allem eine echt coole Figur mit sehr guter Verarbeitung. Ist ihr Geld wert!

まず組み立て工程から、一番気になったのは首の部分です。 ポリキャップのパーツが異様に固く、入れるのにはかなり苦労しました。しかも入れた後に頭をちょっと動かすと、すぐにもげます。僕はこれが我慢出来なかったのでガンプラのポリキャップで代用し、きちんと首が動くようにしました。 他の部分もはめるのが滅茶苦茶固く、なおかつ取れやすいので接着剤必須かもしれません… つぎに完成度ですが、これは文句ありません。劇中そのままの総司令です。 各部のディテールも非常に細かく、可動良好、付属するバトルブレードもボリュームたっぷりで迫力満点です。 星の減点はやはり組み立て工程です、これはチビッコにはキツすぎます… しかし完成度にはオォウ…(驚)とならざるを得ませんので完成時の感動は凄いものになると思います!
