Great product
Great product cleaned like it said and got a little better gas mileage.

One of the best on the market
I've tried most of the commonly available products like this on the American market. The majority are snake oil and do nothing to improve gas mileage or clean the fuel system. Prior to Royal Purple, I tried Amsoil PI which is more expensive but did work exceptionally well. I later learned from a master mechanic that unless these types of products have an additive package containing PEA, they likely won't do much which explains the lackluster results from the other products, and also why the Amsoil PI did work so well. In comes Royal Purple to my door and I have to say it does work at LEAST as well as the Amsoil, at a slightly lower price and easier to find. Royal Purple does contain the additive package and you can really tell the difference after running it a full tank. My 2016 NIssan Maxima now has more pep from a dead stop, is getting a few MPG better mileage and to my surprise it quieted a bit of engine noise. I can really feel the performance boost. This will be a go-to product for me after each oil change.

Does it work, I don't know
It does have the right cleaning chemicals in it. My car runs good with decent gas milage. Note I do use 89 octane no-ethanol gas 1 out every 5 tank full and usually use "Top Tier" type gas available at better gas stations.

Very Surprised/Happy
This stuff actually works like a dream, I wasn't having any real issues ( I Thought ) but after 45,000 miles, I felt it might do something for cleaning the fuel system, after using it exactly like it said to do, my suv is so smooth you won't even know it's running at idle, and it's much faster taking off, not sure on mileage because of the severe cold weather here in Michigan but i'm so pleased i will be buying if for family members, don't be afraid this stuff works.

Wow this actually works!
I am generally very skeptical about these miracle cure in a bottle products but this royal purple atomizer worked remarkably well for me. I had noticed a decrease in fuel mileage, rough idle and an overall lack of performance in a 2.3 liter GDI engine. Also the fuel trims were off quite a bit. After one bottle and a tank of gas, the difference it truly remarkable. The idle is perfectly smooth and there is a noticeable improvement in performance. I expect fuel mileage will improve as well but too early to tell. Fuel trims are spot on. I had forgotten how wonderful this engine performs! Will this fix all problems, certainly not but it absolutely made a huge improvement to GDI fuel injectors.

3-STARS This is a review on Royal Purple 18000 Max Atomizer Fuel Injector Cleaner, 6 fl. oz. I am giving this product a 3-star review. I used two, 6 ounce bottles mixed with 34 gallons of fuel. No check engine lights came on during testing. Regen mileage interval with NO additives was 384 miles after receiving vehicle from repair shop and vehicle working properly. This product had a decrease in miles between regeneration cycle from 384 miles (baseline) to 349 miles, thus increasing DPF regen frequency. My vehicle went 35 miles less between regens with this product. This product also has a decrease in miles between regeneration cycle from previous product used, Dura Lube Diesel DPF and Catalytic Treatment. Mileage between regen cycle with Dura Lube was 360 miles. Vehicle went 11 miles less between regens with this product vs Dura Lube Diesel DPF and Catalytic Treatment. I also have a second run with ½ tank of this product which showed improvement. This product had an increase in miles between regeneration cycle from 384 miles (baseline) to 408 miles, thus decreasing DPF regen frequency. Vehicle went 24 miles more between regens with this product vs baseline. Improved on second regen cycle! This product also has an increase in miles between regeneration cycle from previous product used, Dura Lube Diesel DPF and Catalytic Treatment. Miles between regen cycle with Dura Lube was 360 miles. Vehicle went 48 miles farther between regens with this product vs Dura Lube Diesel DPF and Catalytic Treatment. MPG. Mileage increase 1.0 mpg on gradual uphill drive. Driving Notes: 21 miles driven during regeneration cycles Soot down to 3 grams EGTs = 556F temperature, normal highway driving EGTs = 698F temperature during regeneration cycle PROS MPG increased by 1.0 mpg Decreased regen frequency on second tank CONS Increased regen frequency on first tank I have included other products for comparison below. You should not compare the towing data for comparison. I have just added it to show that towing will change data. Towing will increase exhaust gas temperatures and should make the DPF more effective. My regen mileage intervals increased, decreasing regen frequency, while towing. There are many factors that affect the DPF performance. The factors that I noticed (on my vehicle) are outside temperature, humidity, vehicle speed or stop and go traffic(big factor), and EGTs. Lower temperatures decreased DPF performance. Higher humidity decreased DPF performance. Higher outside temperatures and lower humidity seem to increase DPF performance. Higher EGTs such as towing increased DPF performance. Driving downhill increased soot production faster. Longer driving distance seems helps the DPF filter as optimal temperatures are reached. It seems like soot accumulates faster when the engine and DPF filter are not warm/hot enough, and this seems to occur within the first 10-15 miles of travel. If you are only making short trips then the DPF will not perform well and regens will be more frequent. I dumped it in my tank at the highest recommended concentration. After 400km it almost totally cleared up the rough idle which I suspect was clogged injectors. I'm reordering, and intend to use a bottle every tank from now on. (1998 Silverado 5.0L 577,000km)
