Just what I wanted! Not so clear they are invisible. My little kids will see them and know where they are, all while looking clean and neat. Ppl are saying they are crystal clear, they are not. I posted a few pics to show that they aren't. On black it's got a tint, on the white calendar it was extremely clear! On the marker set it was clear in some places not so clear in others. Hope this helped! I'll def buy again (they are thin, as expected so if my kids bend them and they get creased I'll have extras)

Plastic Placemats very thin.

Bought these to put on the nightstands in the bedroom so I can set a glass of water there at night without hurting the wood. It does the trick. Because they’re clear it doesn’t block the view of the beautiful wood grain. They are fairly thin but not too thin. It protects the wood quite nicely.

I wanted something I could wipe off but wanted to see my tablecloth. These were perfect. Not glossy. Picture attached, see my tablecloth!?

To say they are thin is an understatement. I would struggle to call them a placemat. They should work for the purpose I need them for.

Bought one set a year ago, when we bought a new wood table. Wanted to protect the table but didn’t want to distract from the beautiful wood. These do just that, and by the time you put a plate, silverware, napkins etc on top they’re barely noticeable. Still in good shape. Just got a second set as they come in sets of 6 and I needed two more.

Like the transparency so the tablecloth is visible. A little slippery, but not a big deal.

1) not cold enough on the cushion side 2) strap lack the strength to secure firmly. 3) not flexible enough to folow the ankle or hand contour when freeze.

I have 3 sets of these placemats and use them quite often. They are a great size and thickness and the best part is that they do not conflict with a table arrangement because they are almost clear.

I love these placemats because they protect the tablecloth but are almost invisible. That means I can focus on a table decoration without the table mats intruding on the design layout and colour scheme. They wipe clean easily and take up much less room to store than conventional, thicker placemats. Very happy with this purchase.

These table mats arrived promptly. As an amazon “recommended” item, I was EXTREMELY disappointed by these ridiculously thin items. I was after something durable and long lasting. Because they are SO thin, it is VERY unlikely that these mats are truly “heat resistant” and it is extremely unlikely that they will be long lasting. If you wanting something thick, durable to wear and tear, with heat resistance to hot meals sitting on them, then I would look elsewhere. The thickness (or lack of it) of these mats should be clearly stated, so that purchasers paying good money are not deeply disappointed by what they receive.
