It works on Cat acne caused by bacteria from food or water bowl
It worked on my cat's cat-acne. There were little red itchy bumps on his face caused by bacteria apparently from his fountain water bowl. I treated him with this product and it cleared up nicely. It's a little challenging to apply it as it's a liquid-- like water. I put it on my fingers tips and rubbed gently on his affected area. Saved a trip to the vet!. Got rid of that water fountain and now he's fine . Went back to providing him a fresh water bowl twice a day.

Really works, buying again
My male cat had a severe case of chin acne. It was actually starting on his top lips too. We have all glass and stainless steel bowls. But I got them a catnip ball that sticks to the wall and he was constantly biting and licking it. I actually think he might have got these terrible sores from that. I found this and tried my luck. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am even buying another bottle as a back up for any other skin issues that might happen with the 3 of them.

Great for feline acne!
I noticed a large pimple on my cat's chin and after looking closely, I could see that he had chin acne. I use ceramic or stainless bowls so I was a little surprised to see this. However; I realized that I had a treat dispenser that was plastic so I got rid of it. In the meantime, I started using this and it cleared his chin up within a week when using it 2-3 times per day. I like that it is very gentle, and it didn't cause him any discomfort. I will keep it on hand and use it periodically to keep it clear.

This helped me find the real solution
This is tough. This product deserves my praise because it led me to what is actually healing my cat's chin acne, but this particular concentration and applicator is not so good. This barely seemed like it worked but it was better than the zero results from chlorhexidine so I kept at it. The black chin crud on my cat would appear each day, maybe slightly less, and squirting the bottle was very difficult since the liquid just wanted to pool on the surface of the cat's fur so I had to work it in with a toothbrush to get it next to the skin. Not pleasant, and only slight progress. I checked the label for ingredients and saw the .009% concentration of hypochlorous acid so I went looking for that but with a spray applicator as I was rapidly running out of this tiny bottle's contents, most of which was dribbling off instead of soaking in due to the terrible delivery system. (Try holding a squirming cat while squeezing a small bottle of liquid on its chin, and then quick, grab a toothbrush to gently work the area before it all runs onto the floor. Tough with only 2 hands.) In researching I found that hypochlorous acid is a common household disinfectant, safe for babies and pets, and I found that people even spray it directly on their faces to control human acne. Those brands have at least double the concentration in this pet variety, at least .018%, and the 'inactive ingredients' list is exactly the same, just water and salt (sodium chloride). WOW! I got some of another brand with a spray applicator which came in 8X the volume at double the concentration for the same price paid here. I chose a reputable brand that sells 'household disinfectant' and 'skin care' varieties of exactly the same product, the difference being a pretty label and 3 bucks. I saved the 3 bucks and went with the household variety. Just in the 2 days I have had the higher concentration spray the cat's acne is way better, the spray application is so fast and easy, and I am very grateful to have gotten on this path where nothing else seemed to work. Thank you to this product for showing me the way, it was worth buying even though it didn't fix my problem. I hope this review helps someone find out about the 'one cool trick' of buying the chemical in the right concentration and delivery system so their kitty can be healthy, even if another brand. I should call my vet to share this good news when they said there was nothing else to try after the chlorhexidine, perhaps they can recommend this pet and family-safe antimicrobial for their furry patients.

Great stuff!
Worked fantastic on my cat's chin cyst. It started out really big, skin colored and clearly painful to him. Did a warm compress only once and used the spray. Next day it went down in size but he scratched it open. (1st pic) 2nd pic is just a couple days later. Used a sterile cloth or qtip with distilled water and this spray to keep it clean about 2-4x a day. All better now!

Works great
My vet said he was getting staph infections, but I think it was pimples. My wife washed his sores with this for a few days, and wham problem solved. The vet would sell us antibiotics which worked but only for about 6 weeks and then the sores would be back. After the first treatment the sores returned in about 6 months, after the second time they have not returned.

Not sure if it actually helps
Our cats have really bad scene flares. I’m not sure this helped cuz it seems wiping with water helped it go away equally as fast

Me ha funcionado muy bien, desde que lo comencé a utilizar he notado una gran mejora en el acné de mi gato. Además tiene muchos más usos tópicos. Un producto para tener de forma permanente en el botiquin de los michis.
