Great sparring target
Really like the handle. I feel like if it had a bit of a neck it would protect the wrist of the one holding the target better.

Good to train for an opponent with a good head movement.
It's different from regular mitts. it gives you the extra visualization of a real target's head just like in a real fight when the opponent bob and weave. It provides different exercises that you won't get from regular mitts.

Stick to the regular focus mitts
Bought this for my sons who do MMA concept is cool, but whoever’s holding it. It’s really uncomfortable while somebody’s hitting it or kicking it really uncomfortable wouldn’t suggest buying it.

Poor packaging, seams are poorly done.
I have not really tried this product, it was poorly packaged and seams all over were sloppy. I gave 2 stars for design. Very cool idea. I have returned for a replacement. (Edit: 11.16.2023, same packaging, sloppy seams, hole is gone from ear. For all I know this is the same one. This product is a great idea, but should only be worth $50 if this is the post purchase item that everyone gets. I figure I'll get $100 Dollars of punching and kicking out of this before the handle breaks.)

GREAT LITTLE TOOL. PERFECT FOR SOLO TRAINING. RIPS, GOUGES, EYE STRIKES, ELBOWS ETC. WHEN USING WITH A PARTNER YOU CAN REALLY TEST THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF RANGE.

I liked the striking surface and easy transition bettween hooking and straight strikes. Most people have a difficult time holding this while it is being hit even half power.

First up, this thing was DAMN expensive with shipping from the USA to Australia and I was really unsure if it was going to be useful at all, I took the risk and am really glad I did! I train with a small group with each person having between 10 and 30 years MA experience across different styles. We meet each week and do primarily Muay Thai and boxing style drills on focus mitts, kick shields, Thai Pads, Belly Pads, I thought I’d bring in this to add some fun and mix things up a bit. We were all blown away how much this single training tool could change our drills in a great way. So far we have settled on holding this in one hand with a boxing glove on the other and we effectively spar each other with the head holder bobbing and weaving the target and occasionally throwing punches as well. It’s a great drill and completely changes how you approach striking and footwork when you aren’t guaranteed to land the blow. As for the target itself. I was concerned about the wrist position while holding and potentially hurting the target holder with a strong strike, the wrist is fine, no issues whatsoever with that. The only danger is if they hold it in front of their face and it gets hit back onto them. It’s just the nature of the drill being much more chaotic than a simple focus mitt drill. As for the target itself. Overall it’s fine, the face is slightly padded and you could use it bare fisted if you really want but we are using gloves. The quality control of where different sections of the target are joined is pretty ugly and messy and to be honest, it doesn’t look like a professionally manufactured item from the bottom. I doubt it will affect the longevity but it just looks cheap. I’ve included a picture of what I mean. All in all it’s a great tool if you are looking to add some more fun and challenge to your sessions, probably better for more experienced trainers. If you are just going to use it stationary as an alternative to a traditional focus mitt you are probably missing the point and paying way too much for it.
