Swissmar Raclette Granite Stone Scraper/Turner

I originally bought this to use on my granite stone and it works great on it but I have found another use for it and I use it almost everyday now. After I use my cast iron or stainless steel pans (without nonstick coating), I put a little water in the pan and put it back on the stove and then use this to scrap the stuck on food right off. It's works great. It's not too big and easy to handle. It has a sharp edge so you would have to be careful with non-stick coating. It turns eggs great in my cast iron.

I bought this item thinking it would be bigger. I was slightly disappointed to realize that it was much smaller than I thought it would be. No offense to the seller, s/he did post the measurement on the product description. I give this product a 3/5 because its just ok.

This Swissmar scraper is built extremely well, is perfect for the granite stone, and goes well with the entire cooking experience. I would recommend this as a "must have" accessory. You will not be disappointed.

This worked beautifully! Had no need to preheat stone in the oven. Cooked thinly sliced beef filet, chicken and pork quickly. Same with all the veggies and sausage. It melted the raclette and gruyere perfectly. I had eight people for dinner, and it cooked all we needed. It was fun to cook and chat. I have an oval table, so there was some reaching involved. A round table would be perfect! I will probably buy another, just to avoid the reaching, not because the appliance can't cook for eight. This was more fun than fondue because we had soooo many tasty things to cook. No appetizers needed, just add a crusty bread and perhaps a salad, then dessert....easiest entertaining ever!!!

If you get only one accessory for the Swissmar Raclette, this would be the one to get. It doubles as a cooking tool which is used to assist in clean up!

It's small. A little bit expensive for this size.

Strong enough to do the job and didn't scratch or harm our raclette. It would have been cute had the color of the scraper matched the raclette? But that's being silly.

It is very very very small good for flipping dollar size pancakes, But it is stainless steel good quality
