Amazing. Easy. Plugs right into iPhone
I can’t believe this was $22!! It’s worth $50 or more in my opinion lol. No one could hear me on live videos and I kept procrastinating buying a mic because one more contraption I needed to figure out just did not excite me. I finally bought this one and Jeesh what the heck was I waiting for?!?! 5 seconds to unbox it and plug it in. No manuals needed. No hooking up or pairing needed. It’s AMAZING! My live was completely different. All our people watching couldn’t believe how they could actually hear me. Lol. I love it so much I just bought another one. For this price even it only lasts a few months I’ll feel it was totally worth it. Oh and I forgot to mention no additional contraptions needed to make it work with iPhone. Just plug it right into battery charger. Very long cord.

Great microphone
This microphone works amazing well. The sound quality is fantastic (crisp and clear) and it doesn’t seem to pick up background sound. I thought my iPhone videos had good sound when I was speaking and then I discovered this microphone and the sound quality is 50x better. I can tell the difference between the sound in my videos that have the iPhone mic and this microphone. Sometimes I will record videos of a soft speaking family member and it is really hard to hear when using the iPhone microphone. Using this microphone makes it so much easier to hear a soft speaking family member. It’s an amazing difference.

Great little microphone
I just started doing Youtube videos and needed a microphone to plug into my iPhone. The length of the cord is great, the sound comes out very nice and it’s very simple to use: plug in and turn on your camera. As other people have said, you can’t hear anything when you re-watch the video and have the microphone plugged in, so just unplug it to hear the video. One thing though is that I’ve used this on decently windy days and it does struggle a bit. You can still hear most of what’s being said, but it can bit spotty with a big gust of wind. But I’m still very happy with this microphone, how affordable it is and how easy it is to use

It’s Sus But it Actually Works
I was a little suspicious that this mic even worked. I’m using mine with an iPhone 11 (iPhones 8, and 11 notoriously have problems with external mics), so I was concerned. After a few tests, however, I have determined that this mic does indeed work, it really is as easy as plugging it into your lightning port and hitting record, the quality is good (though the cord itself feels cheap). The noise cancellation isn’t great, but it’s always a good idea to record in as quiet a space as possible. Ultimately, the proximity to the mic (clipped to the collar) will help eliminate some background noise. This also worked with a basic voice recording app not native to the iPhone itself. Definitely a good purchase for a broke college kid like me dipping my toe into digital media.

You get what you paid for
I bought this when starting my audio journey and I’m glad the return was easy. I was recommended this product because it was supposedly an alternative to a Shure lavaliere, but it did not give a full deep sound. And sometimes the sound would cut off — which I’m assuming was a wire issue. The mic also had a hard time connecting to my phone and would sometimes not recognize my phone at all. Nonetheless, if you’re not too worried about sound quality, the mic is a good starter, especially for its price. But having sound cut off is not a risk I’m willing to take, so I opted to buy a premium

Good performance for the price
This worked well on my older model iPhone and sound quality and volume level were excellent. It's important to note that at least in my case, I had to unplug this mic in order to play back my video and hear the audio. At first I thought the mic was not recording anything. This is not really a flaw, but just a heads up for any users that might have the same experience.

Every Rustle Will Be Heard
Don’t buy these hella cheap mics. Period. They do not work whatsoever. Yes, the mic does record sound but it records every single sound made by the slightest bit of movement. Even if you barely move, the inaudible rustling sound coming from your clothes will completely drown out all other sounds when listening to playback. This is supposed to be a lapel microphone meaning you’re supposed to attach the mic to your shirt/jacket with the built-in clip, but that’s utterly pointless. Your voice will not be heard over any physical adjustment. I would immediately give up on trying to make the lapel mic discreet by tucking it in your collar or your hair. All you will hear is scratching noises up against the mic. What I would suggest to make the microphone pick up your voice is attaching the mic clip to an object like a microphone stand that’s sitting right in front of your face. No use being discreet about it. Now, make sure the mic clip is attached to object that will not move the entire time you’re recording. Lastly, try not to move whatsoever. Your mouth is the only thing allowed to move as the rest of your body remains completely still. That’s the only way I have made this cheap POS work for me before it just randomly quit working three months after purchasing it. What I would recommend to those who haven’t bought this product, simply don’t. Just buy a regular microphone, preferably one with a stand. If you think this is a nice cheap option to hold you down while looking for a better replacement, you might get very lucky and have success with it. All i can tell you is that I have bought other mics just like this, and I have to go through hell each time I needed to record something. Trust me; whatever you’re recording on has better built-in microphones than this crappy item.

Nice microphone that is easy to use
I purchased this for making YouTube videos using my iPhone 11 and I am pleased with the purchase. It definitely makes a very significant difference over the phone's internal microphone and is a game changer if you want to put out better quality videos. Best of all, this microphone was plug-and-play for me. The cord is long enough to get some distance between you and the phone, but not so long that you have to worry about it getting tangled up in everything. If you plan to make videos where you will be moving around a lot, this may not be the best option, but for doing basic videos where you are sitting in a single spot, its perfect. I have only used it for a couple of weeks, so time will tell if it holds up.
