Beautiful Boots
I loved the boots but they were too tall for me and hurt the back of my knees. The lining is very warm and great for winter wear. Very comfortable to walk in and not hard to get off and on. They really do look like leather. The calf area is not made for large calfs, so be aware of that. A shoe shop may be able to cut them down if they are too tall for you too.

Really terrific boot!
Not too many people can tell that they're not leather! The seller is really fast with delivery too, which is wonderful with all of the rain we've been getting here in Southern California! I'd say that these boots run a bit small. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5, but because thick cozy socks feel really good with rubber boots, I ordered an 8! Perfect fit! These boots even have a spur rest....you won't be disappointed!

Sizing around calfs a huge issue
These boots are perfect look wise and fit to just under the knee as the description says. However, the fit around the calf is horrible! It is super tight. I tried mine on bare legged and I cannot imagine wearing these with pants on. There is almost no breathing room for my leg to move in. I would imagine it would cut off my circulation very quickly if I wore them for an extended length of time. For the record, I am a runner so have somewhat muscled legs but not anywhere outside the norm and these are incredibly tight. I cannot wear them and to return them it costs an additional $5.36

Good rain/mud boots, kind of flabby in the ankles
Bought these to round out a Han Solo costume. Have to say that in the picture, they look terrific and fairly true to the HS look. When I received the boots, I really liked the look and build, including the (orange) lining on the inside. The texture of the rubber on the outside is also very leather-like. The general curve of the boots is really suggestive of some good styling. But upon trying them on, I saw a pair of Han Solo boots turn into just a pair of really nice rain boots. The material is very stiff and relatively heavy - both of which I could reasonably live with. But what I didn't like was the ankles - round and awkward looking, more like a typical rubber boot. This may be fine for someone with really fat ankles, but then I doubt it, as the tops really only accommodate average sized calves. And with no zipper or snap, they are also not very easy to get in and out of. So what we have is really nice looking, well shaped and well-built rain boots, if that's what you're after. But Han Solo boots? Meh, not so much.

UPDATE: Quality turned out to be fleeting - value followed it out the door.
UPDATE 1/2017: Scoring this down - a lot. First, the lining/insole separating from the boot turned out to be more than a minor nuisance. The insole rapidly fell apart and the lining tore, making a big mess after a couple of weeks. Second, and worse, very small cracks formed in the soles - making them useless in wet conditions.I gave up on this pair for good when water started coming in the sides, as well. Not taking off more stars because these are marketed as riding boots, not walking boots. But that's not much of an excuse; well-made boots of any variety shouldn't fall apart as completely as these have. Planning to buy a pair of Mountain Horse boots instead. I'll pay a bit more, but the quality appears to be much higher. These are fine for cosplay and probably fine for riding, but I can't recommend them for anyone planning to have them in contact with the ground for any length of time. Like the fit and the look, and they're waterproof as advertised. Best of all, a great deal - about a quarter of what you'd pay for a similar pair of Le Chameau or Aigle boots. i'm knocking off a star because the lining - and the attached insole - of one boot likes to come out still attached to my foot. Then I have to stuff it back into the boot where it belongs. A minor nuisance, and one that I only deal with when I wear certain pants tucked into the boots, making the fit tighter than usual. Other than that, highly recommended! Also, I should point out that it's hard to find men's sizes in this type of boot from ANY vendor, at least at the moment. No idea why, unless common sense is getting equally scarce.

Great boots.
Excellent for the price and has a nice lining on the inside helping you get them off and on easily. The rubber finish is high gloss and from afar they appear like highly polished leather. These are great for wet weather when you don't want to wear your custom boots. There is even a spur rest on the heel.

DON'T Buy - It's a RIP OFF: Lining already torn, inner cardboard sole disintegrated
Update: Now I can throw them away because there is a hole in the sole. I haven't worn them every day and not on any sharp things. I already had to cut away the inner sole of one of the boots. Getting out of the boots tore the lining at the heel and the whole lining plus inner sole came out of the boot when I pulled my leg out. The sweat disintegrated the cardboard inner sole although I haven't used them every day. And kept them in a dry tack room so that they could dry out. I live in California and we have the worst drought in the last 200 years. So the air is not moist either. And generally I do not have sweaty feet. I think it is absolutely wrong to use cardboard soles in rubber boots. Since rubber boots aren't "breathing" sweaty feet and therefore moisture in the boot are unavoidable. Cardboard dissolves very quickly in water - so it is the wrong design. I've owned a former model for 15 years before I had to toss them, they were good quality - "Made in Israel". But these new ones are less elegantly shaped, the rubber is stiffer and the lining is bad quality and while riding English they are uncomfortable when I put my leg and foot in the desired position. Won't buy it again.

Great costume boots for any Officer uniform
Great costume boots for any Officer uniform. Here is what you need to know: they fit TIGHT around the calves. You can get your pants in but it's tough. The main takeaway...BUY A BOOTJACK, TRUST ME. Spend the $10, it's totally worth it.

They have probably the best styling of any rubber riding boot. The height is perfect but there is a bit of a gap around my calf (i.e. not quite tight enough) as I have quite skinny legs. Not really a fan of the lining as its bright orange and this type of lining always pulls out eventually. In cold weather they are nice and cosy but in warm weather you will sweat like crazy
