RIF6 Sound Bar - 35 Inch Home Theater TV Soundbar with LED Display, Dual Built-in Subwoofers and 4 Equalizer Settings - Connects to Bluetooth, HDMI, AUX, RCA and USB

Excellent sound bar, easy setup to my TV using the hdmi arc port, great sound, looks rich, very sturdy. I was also able connect my echo dot 3rd gen via Bluetooth to the sound bar using the input button on the sound bar remote to get it in paring mode and then the alexa app. All the cables needed for the various connection types were also include. The remote is a nice size and simple to use. The only thing that I wish was different is the visual led display indicator in the middle which indicate what setting you are currently using. My TV and the sound bar CEC settings are compatible, so when I turn my television on the sound bar automatically comes on, when I turn the TV off the sound bar turns off. TV remote volume buttons also controls the volume on the sound bar. When I ask alexa to turn the volume up the sound bar volume is increased. I searched and read many reviews before taking a chance on this sound bar and I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks to everyone that reviewed this item before me. Updated 12/26/19: If I use the volume buttons on my 4K fire stick remote, it disconnects the sound bar from the TV, where the sb won't function at all until I unplug from the electric outlet and plug it back in. I believe it's still a good sound bar, maybe I will stumble across some setting that will prevent the disconnect situation. Updated: 1/13/2020 I purchased a second sound bar, however I didn't realize on that my second TV HDMI port was not ARC, so I had to try the other connections. The headphone input on my TV caused to much static and I couldn't get any sound using only the audio jack. I didn't try the RCA audio cables. The optical cable worked without any problems and the sound is excellent. The only down side to using the optical hook up is that I have to use two remotes when I have the sound bar on. Happy with both purchases. Another update 1/19/2020: I noticed my 2nd sound bar was not as loud as the my first one when playing music connected bluetooth via echo dot3. I compared my two echo dot settings via alexa app and notice the audio setting for volume was missing from the device I was having the issue with. I called amazon cust. support and they had me to reset the echo dot3 and that fixed the volume problem. Now on my 2nd sound bar volume of 21 is plenty, before I had to crank it all the way to 32. Now both sound bars will rock the house.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this soundbar. I never bought one before but I thought I would try it since the price seemed good and I needed a replacement for my existing TV speakers. First, the sound is pretty great. It sounded amazing, even the bass was decent considering it doesn't have a sub-woofer. Streaming music from my phone through Bluetooth sounded great. Everything I tested it with sounded amazing. Second, it was easy to connect to my TV and had many different options. After trying all of them (optical, aux, and HDMI), I stuck with the HDMI using ARC. I liked that it turned on when I turned on my TV rather than having to turn it on with the soundbar remote each time. Third, it looks great. It is positioned on a shelf below my TV and has a clean modern look. The only thing negative I have to say about it is that it turns off after about 15 mins of no sound. Sometimes I will pause something I'm watching to step away for a bit. When I return, the soundbar has turned off and I have to turn it back on again. It's a minor issue but still, I wish it didn't do that. Maybe if it did it after a longer period of time would be better. All in all, it's a great soundbar and I'm glad I purchased it.

Modifying review again now giving it 4.5 stars over a year and 3 months later, up form 4 stars. Ok folks, if the only part of this review you read is my latest update then here it is: BUY IT... The issues people are having with the volume being too low or having to put this RIF6 on max volume is due to a combination of TV audio settings, TV audio volume levels, and the broadcasting audio output settings. What may seem like a sound bar problem is actually a problem with settings and hookups. Some tv sets also have poor audio output levels. Try hooking this up via all possible means, ARC , optical and RCA. You can even try hooking it up to your DVD or Blue Ray to see if they have higher audio output levels. If your TV has a variable audio output that is controlled via your tv set try turning off the tv speakers and turn up the volume, some models may turn off this variable volume feature (this was previous edit)I am editing my review of the RIF6 and raising the review to 4 stars up from prev review of 3. Fact is only time will tell and that is what happened here. The problem with my initial review is that I only had tried this device on a single HD TV set. Every Brand TV set and each of their diff models have different output sound levels . SO the RIF6 plugged into one TV may have a different decibel output then another TV brand / model. I want to judge this unit on its own merit . After using the RIF6 with bluetooth connecting it to Alexa echo dot 3rd gen i noticed a much louder and crisper sound then the RCA widescreen TV set it was prev hooked up to. I also saw increased sound and clarity when used with my laptop and my Roku TV set. Also check the Audio settings of your TV set as this will also affect the sound decibel level and clarity depending on TV Audio settings and make and model this unit may be fine for people hard of hearing previous review heard about people not being happy with bright led. TURN OFF THE LED THEN slim attractive soundbar LF average person ..not best fit for people that are hard of hearing or use to playing really loud music or video as it doesnt have the juice to play really loud (correction problem may be the output from tvs and other sound equip putting it thru an amplifying device the sound bar became much louder and kept its clarity) with that said i love it anyway.. use it in combination with satellite cambridge soundworks speakers puts the sound right in front of me and i also use it in bluetooth mode connecting it to my Alexia echo dot to stream music from alexa when not using it for computer or tv... ( I use high end stereo equip ie Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Aiwai , Bose ( inc the wave Radios), cambridge sound works , JBL also use old school equip like Sony Reel to reel and vinyl record players too)
