Good product not really used for the purpose it was purchased

I’m so impressed by these luggage scales! I was expecting them to be “kinda accurate” and I was so wrong! They are amazingly accurate, the reading at the airport was exactly the same as the one I read with these. They are relatively light weight which is handy as you can pack them without taking up too much of your luggage weight allowance. They pack up nice and small and come with a handy carry pouch which I think looks really good. They are easy to use and functionality wise they are just what any traveler needs be that someone who travels frequently or those who only travel one a year. They read the weight quickly and will hold the weight once the screen and beep once they have accurately read the weight which is great as it saves you having to quickly read the number on the screen like some other products out there. Build quality wise they are well constructed and feel sturdy, they are made from what feels like aluminium which is nice as they can survive been left in your luggage or your loft between trips. The handle feels secure and I’m not worried about them breaking if I overload it. The hook on them is sturdy and secure it also folds into the back of the scales for easy storage. It also features a built in tape measure which is handy, however the tape is my only criticism as I feel there is a risk of it disappearing inside the scales if I’m not careful. Overall a must have item for the frequent traveler or those who only travel every now and then, they really take the stress away from that moment at the airport where you have to weigh your case as they provide the reassurance of the weight of your case.

These seem to declare 5g in 10kg accuracy, 0.05%, which seemed mental, and I had some time to kill on a rainy day, so compared this with another couple of other scales in my home. This and my kitched scales (max 5kg) are both 1g precision (not 1g accuracy of course). One object weight 4.915kg on this, 4.918 on my kitchen scales (and 4.91..4.92kg on another hanging scale. That's 0.06% difference! Okay, I don't have an ISO 1kg block of platinum lying around here, but it's unlikely that my kitched scales are out exactly the same way that these are, so more likely that the declared 0.05% accuracy in this weight range, could actually be genuiine. Which makes this an absolute bargain compared to cycle workshop scales that cost 7 times more than this (I bought this primarily for my bike workshop). Another plus, the auto-hold, once the scale detects a constant reading, makes the poor display viewing angle irrelevant. And for travelling, the built in 1.6m measuring tape could be handy for size-limited hold luggage. Like.

Used to measure powders in large amounts, this works a treat and was just what we needed.

Works well

I bought these to weigh luggage, not fish! I was tired of the cheap Chinesium junk that is about as accurate as simply guessing how much your luggage weighs. These are really nice quality, and come with a handy drawstring bag to keep everything situated & protected from scuffs / scratches. They seem incredibly accurate, as long as you’re able to hold up the weight still enough for it to get an accurate reading. Incredibly easy to use, good display, various different measurements — lbs, kg, oz etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these again, they’re awesome for the money.

Good quality and very handy to take on holidays to weigh your flight cases for flights outward and inward and be confident that they're not going to be too heavy.
