West Polydraw Drafting Film A2 Pad with 15 Sheets

When i originally bought this it was a lot cheaper and seems to have gone up quite a bit in price, which is frustrating. I bought the larger size and cut it down to whatever drawing size i need rather than just sticking to A4 size. The drafting film is a wonderful medium and i can put a line art underneath if required which cuts a lot of time drawing which i would rather spend on perfecting my coloured pencil art. Delivery was very quick and it was packaged very well.

There are many things I like about this drafting film. Since it's not paper, it doesn't curl or buckle when subjected to a hint of moisture, unlike regular tracing paper. The surface takes colour surprisingly well, and also has a smoothness that makes it perfect for technical pens, which is what I intended to use on it first of all when I bought this.In short, it is exactly as described, and if it has any properties that you know you have been missing from your other papers, then this is the one to go for.As an artist, one should in any case try out every different paper one can get one's hands on, just for future reference if nothing else. There might be a day when a certain technique will require just that special paper you tried before, and you will know which one it is.
