We moved into a house that didn’t have a wired doorbell so this was a great option. Simple to set up. We liked the sound choices and volume settings. We chose to use the sticker option but we may use the screws in the future.

Purchased as a replacement for old one, this was easy to install because the doorbell screws holes matched the old ones perfectly. The old one required a battery powered extender to reach the back of the house. This one simply plugs into an outlet and has a volume adjustment that can be very loud if necessary. I also love being able to select the ringtone. No issues at all with this unit.

This is my second doorbell (the first lasting about 15 years) from GE. It is easy to install and is a great price.

So I bought a house and the doorbell didn't work too well - oh well let's get an upgrade! Someone recently told me about these wireless plug in doorbells and I bought this (because it was inexpensive and from a trusted company GE) and figured I'd give it a shot. Two slight issues with the product but if I had been informed prior they wouldn't have been an issue - hiccup one was that you need a drill bit to drill through the two plastic holes on the backplate which isn't make or break but I didn't have a drill bit... hiccup two is that the plug in bell portion takes up the entire outlet plug so you wouldn't be able to plug anything else so I had to shift where I wanted to plug it in based on which plug outlet I would be willing to go without (because I wouldn't be able to use the other one) but even after those Teo slight issues I absolutely love this doorbell!!! It is so much more simple and sleek and modern than the one I had before and also I love the English doorbell, although both option were more pleasant than my last one! It's definitely etly a good buy and I'm very happy with it! This is the review I have been most excited to post!

Loud and works immediately. The second melody is so silly I'll never use it but it's paired, pop a battery in stick it where you want it and it's good to go. Wish it wasn't so bulky over the plug though, it sits in the outlet by pure faith it feels like. They recommend you place it in a certain way and that certain way blocks both outlets so I opt to have it haphazardly sitting on the top one.

We bought this for our neighbor who is 100 years old & a bit hard of hearing. She needed a doorbell that she could hear since she couldn't always hear when we knocked on the door. We installed it for her & we were able to adjust the volume so that she could hear it even if she was somewhere else in her home. Very simple installation as you put the button anywhere outside & then plug the part that rings anywhere in the home. I gave 4 stars on the weatherproof as we don't know yet how it will do in any weather conditions other than sunshine. Hopefully, the weatherproof part can be changed to a 5 star once we find out. Before securing the button outside make sure that it is in range of the doorbell. I will most likely be ordering this with the 2 buttons for my own home.

My mother died earlier this year and I've had to move in with my 84 year old, hard of hearing father. He likes to watch commercial TV all day every day so I made myself a spot in the basement to escape the commercial on-slot. The only problem is that my dad had to come to the basement door and shout for me when he needed something. I got the idea of using a portable door bell and this one works with perfection and was so easy to install. Just plug it in. That's it. Now when he needs me he just rings the bell that is right next to his chair and instead of hearing him yelling at me I hear a pleasant ding dong. We've even worked out a code if he has to go to the store or something he rings the bell twice to let me know he's leaving without me having to run upstairs. Dad and I are very happy with this door bell.

Es fácil de instalar el timbre usa solo una batería y el receptor se instala a un tomacorriente me funcionó muy bien a 18 metros de distancia además tiene el sonido con buen volumen

My order arrived fairly quick and was easy to set up and install. However, after removing the front cover to insert the battery and attaching the doorbell to the desired location, the cover was impossible to reattach. After several attempts I referred back to the instructions to ensure I wasn't missing a step. Still no luck. I ended up having to tape the cover to the unit.
