Ray Ban sunglasses RB2027 PRE, 601/W1 Black (Crystal Gray Mirror Polarized Lens), 63 mm

Size: 63 mm | Color: 601/W1 Black Crystal Gray Mirror Polarized Lens: I think you'd know immediately if these were not genuine Ray Bans because the quality of these Predator 2 glasses is outstanding. They have some weight because of glass lenses but are completely comfortable to wear all day. You can feel the quality and attention to detail in these. These are big frames and lenses - my head is definitely bigger than most at 7 3/4 hat size and they just barely fit my face without being too large. The case has the Ray Ban gold seal on it and is good but I wish Ray Ban would design a case like Oakleys which stop the arms from rubbing against the lenses when inside. Otherwise it's a premium case, well made and includes a cleaning cloth and a warranty booklet and an Icons mini-catalog booklet. The glass lens displays the Ray Ban logo and a P for polarized in the corner. The other lens has a small RB on it. There are no injection seams or rough areas or defects whatsoever anywhere on my very smooth frames. The hinges are not the usual metal 7-prong but are the same material as the frames to match the style. Comparing these with Oakley Half Wire 2 and Flak glasses which I've had for years I say these are much, much better and I have no doubt they will last many years wth basic care. My previous Ray Bans are still going at 11 years old. The polarized glass lenses are what makes these worth the streep price to me. I've tried a lot of other sunglasses from higher-end to average over years and none have matched the performance and comfort of Ray Bans for me. The Oakleys are fine but seem either overbuilt to absurdity or very fragile like my Half Wires which have already broken twice at the hinges with careful use. The lenses just don't provide the optical clarity and definition that these Predators do. Not really fair to compare polycarbonate lenses to glass Ray Bans though and I still like Oakleys very much. These Predator 2 glasses have a serious appearance - my 12-year old daughter said "you look exactly like a Secret Service agent - if you lost some lbs and bought a suit."

I had recently purchased a pair of Wayfarer's that replaced a cheap-o pair of $10 look-alike - but I didn't like the way they sat on the top of my cheekbones. So, I gave them to my son - who loves them. :-) I wanted glasses that wrapped - but didn't make me look too Gangsta (I have a shaved head). These are PERFECT. The lenses are very high quality and make being outside in the Hawaiian sun very comfortable. The frame is light - and not built for punishment - so I know that when I take these babies off, I have to be careful where I put them. I'm looking now for a pair of those "sport straps" that will break me of my habit of hanging them on my shirt collar. They haven't fallen off...yet...but if they ever did - I'm not sure they'd take a tumble to concrete very well. Other than having to deal with that bit of fear and paranoia, these glasses are just what I was looking for!

I have a big head(7 3/4) and a lot of different sun glass styles. (Rayban, Maui jim, etc) These have become my favorites. Fit great right out of the box. Don't slide down my nose like others.

My old raybans had finally had 1 too many accidents and 1 of the senses started popping out. I went to the Rayban website to order replacement lenses, but they cost as much as a new pair! Also, I didn't care for thar style as much as the preditors I had before them. So I started shopping around for some new preditors with polerized gray lenses. I kept seeing $210. I wasn't about to pat that or anything near $200. I had to make a decision, do I compromise and get a pair of raybans that aren't exactly what I want? Or. Do I bail on raybans completely and get some cheapies? I was shopping and searching and reading hundreds of reviews until I was about to give up entirely. 5 almost 6 months pass and then Eureka!!! I found the exact pair I wanted on sale!!! And I had an Amazon gift card from my birthday, so it was even better! I jumped on the deal as fast as a cowboy on his horse! They came straight away and I couldn't be happier!!! I would most definitely purchase from this seller again!!! Thanks so much for my belated birthday gift, it was well worth the wait!

I have worn Ray Bans all my life.. these are very nice and actually have glass lenses. Any pair of good glasses should have glass lenses, plastic distorts vision .. so in short if your buying Ray Bans and the price seems real cheep … there is a reason !!

I ordered these (Predator 2) glasses to replace a pair of glasses that were stolen. I knew they were Ray-Bans, but I didn't know the model or the specifics of the glass, finish, etc. I would have appreciated more description about the product from either the seller or on the Ray-Ban website; neither really was much help inthat regard. Despite that I managed to order just what I wanted and I am extremely pleased with the glasses. High quality product. Good fit.

...eye protection I've ever had. Owned my first pair for 20+ years until the hinges finally gave out. Went for several years using similar style less expensive shades but none matched the comfort and performance of my Predators. Just received my new pair and they are exactly as I remembered. Wonderful!
