I'm very happy with these shades! I was pleased to see that although they are not as dark as some other shades I have tried, They work very well. This is actually a plus since my children enjoy looking at the scenery as we drive. With these, the painful brightness is vastly reduced while staying relatively easy to look through. The same could be said for driving safety. Even if it's just a quick glimpse seconds can be very important is certain weather conditions, the time of year or day. They are useful in blinding bright situations like train lights or oncoming traffic in the rain. They are easier to see through than darker shades when lighting is dimmer and other vehicles might not have their lights on yet. Which can be worrisome when you need to see trough the rear window. They side window shades are so easy to remove it's a huge relief. I've tried more expensive roll up shades and once they get a little worn out they become a huge headache to deal with and unroll. These are designed to fold up for easy storage or travel. Toddlers tend to rip them down if they are able. So having a shade that is as easy to remove as it is to reapply is awesome. When they arrived I decided to place them on my windows in my living room just to smooth them out a little. Yes, they are a bit wrinkly at first but they smooth out. So it doesn't bother me. Others have said they used hair dryers and washed them. I didn't do this because I didn't want to risk damaging them. The wrinkles can come out with regular daylight heat in combination with smoothing them out with your hand. The rear window shade is a little big for our Subaru Forester. It still works, though! As you can see in the pictures I've attached. The suction cups were a necessity in the situation. I honestly wouldn't have been too upset if it hadn't considering how much SUV's can vary. For under $12 you usually only get two small shades if not just one. Overall I'm so glad to have these. I like them so much more than the Safety first scroll/pullout ones I got when my daughter was born.

This isn't a perfect product but it is a very good one. My wife and I have a Toyota Corolla so if you have a bigger vehicle, this review might not be as helpful to you. Also, make sure you know what your windows measure so you can ensure that these will fit well in your windows. THE GOOD: The shades were a good price, went on easily, fit well, and have stayed on pretty well. (2 of the rear shade suction cups came off and had to be re-stuck but since we didn't clean the area before installing, that is on us.) The day after we installed the shades was quite a scorcher in our area but when we got in our car, the interior was noticeably cooler than usual. This effect was especially pronounced when we also used our windshield sunshades. We were worried about having to take them down at night but we noticed that the rear sunshade has made night-driving easier. Even when the vehicle behind us was tailgating us with their super bright LED headlights on, the rear shade blocked most of the glare so we could still see clearly. THE BAD: Several reviews mentioned the side sunshades were kind of bunchy despite attempts to smooth them out. This is true BUT the part that sticks to the window does go on flat, it's just the mesh side that bunches a bit. This does not affect the functionality though. The main con we noticed was that the side shades seemed to increase the size of our side blind spots. However, this seems likely to happen no matter which companies side shades you use. Still, it was enough to knock this product from 5 stars to 4 because we haven't been using this product long enough to see if the decreased visibility is something you get used to or not. OVERALL: My wife and I purchased this product because she's pregnant and we wanted something to make the backseat more hospitable for when our newest family member arrives this summer. We're happy with this product and confident we won't have to worry so much about our child overheating when we get in the car nor will we worry about trucks or tailgaters flooding the backseat with light at night and waking up our child.
