Nice pens & good value!!
I'm somewhat new to the world of fountain pens, getting re-intetested since my love of them & the beautiful tourquoise ink I was able to buy & use with them over 40 (!!) years ago in high school. What a pleasant surprise to see the variety of pens & ink colors available to me now!! I started out with these four pens, figuring i didnt have much to lose: about $13.00 for four pens, including 10 cartridges of assorted colors of ink. The pens are QUITE NICE!! They have a nice weight, their colors shimmer really deeply and nicely and they are comfortable in my hand when writing. The caps fit snugly but aren't difficult to open or close. The burgundy and dark blue pens shimmer much more beautifully and deeply than you can see in the pictures and the yellow pen is a richer color than the picture shows, also. I had NO problems inserting the ink cartridges in these pens, as i did with the very first batch of pens I bought in bulk on Amazon (a pack of 8 Jinhao plastic pens, multicolor; advertised next to these pens. Sorry, I don't have the item number.) I literally struggled mightily with those 8 pens till my hand hurt and couldn't get a few of them to puncture the ink cartridges altogether, thus rendering those pens useless. These four pens also write very smoothly and the ink flows nicely, again in comparison with the 8 Jinhao, which write somewhat scratchily (is that a word?) and need a bit of pressure to get the ink to flow out. I also have a Pilot Retro pen that cost around $15.00 (I know, it's not an expensive pen!) but it doesn't write as nicely and smoothly as these four pens do!! I feel that they are a nice surprise! Very good value for the price!!! I'll watch and make sure they don't leak, and that the caps continue to fit snugly. If there are any problems, I'll return to this review. However I'm giving the pens 5 stars right now!!

Well Made, Good Looking, and Good Writing
These Jinhao 750 pens are actually quite a bit more beautiful than the pictures can show. There is a flat-black pen, a glossy lacquered black and glitter pen, an aluminum (I think) silver-on-silver (silver body and silver hardware), and one with a red and gold lacquered body with silver hardware. All four are exceptionally classy looking and well-made, especially given the price. The only one that I would change (if I could) is the last one in the list. The red and gold body would look better with gold, brass, or black hardware than it does with silver. It's still beautiful, but I'll definitely be on the lookout for one at an affordable price and a more complimentary color of hardware. Although they look great, it should be obvious that these pens are not at the price point that one would expect that they're "really" made with actual silver or gold. Well, I suppose they could be plated, but I really doubt it. You get that, right? I have a number of other pens in my collection, so I've inked up only the silver one for now and it is just like all other Jinhaos that I have used: Writes well, doesn't leak or blob, and looks great. I wouldn't expect any problems with any of the others. I have not yet tried the included Gullor ink cartridges. I don't like ink cartridges, because they have low capacity and you can't push the air out of them before air travel. Eventually, I'll use those inks, but I'll probably use a syringe to transfer it to a converter. Not in a hurry, but I'll update my review after I try the Gullor inks. For now, the pens alone are a 5-star value and I would recommend them.

The Gullor 450: A perfect, well made, starter pen.
The Gullor 450, otherwise known as the Jinhao X450 as Gullor is the American distributor of the pen, it is quite a surprising pen for the price, and personally - I was quite impressed, not to say there were no flaws (which there were plenty of). When you receive the box of the pens, you will find a clear plastic covering on the pens, with the pens themselves being inside this sleeve, nothing too special. The pens themselves, are hefty, good looking pens that feel more like 170 dollar pens then 17 dollar pens. Each pen has a unique design, though the golden pen looks much more yellow when you receive it. The pens are perfect for those new to the Fountain Pen community looking for a stylish, vintage fountain pen look and experience, but does not want to spend 100s on a pen The pen comes with 4 sleeves, a black leather pen case (which is quite well made), 4 converters and a box of multicolored ink cartridges. The ink itself is quite good, the colors are nice, other then green which is more like a bright tacky neon green. The way the pen writes is actually - once again - quite surprising, although its not the smoothest pen out of the box, after a few days of use the pen is much smoother. The pen in the hand feels quite good, just a tad heavy, with the cap posted its too heavy quite frankly (at least for me). You can get some line variation out of the pen, though I do not recommenced it as you could spring (ruin) the nib. The nib itself is 18k gold plated around steel (which once again - is a surprise.). However I would like to make clear, the plating is most likely 2 or 3 atoms thick, so very - very - very small. If you look in the pictures I did leave a writing sample as well as some written information about the pen. Now for the flaws~ The pen cap is like a scratch on a new car. It caused a lot of problems for me, and was the reason this pen is getting 4 out of 5 stars instead of a full 5 star review. First off - The pen cap can get very, very, very loose and make a lot of noise, now on my other 3 pens the caps are fine but they do seem as if the cap will start to get loose like my other. I did contact the seller and thankfully their customer support is quite good and they are sending me not only a cap but a full replacement pen. Conclusion~ The pen is a perfect starter pen to any new user, and even a perfect addition to a experienced fountain pen user. The pen has its flaws but its good looks, clean and sturdy manufacturing, and a pretty decent nib makes it, overall, a 4/5 pen.

Budget heavyweights!
I love these pens. For the price they are amazing writers, metal body and deep colors. I had one seem to have issues, but I switched ink and it wrote so smooth. I especially love the deep red one, and I plan to use Yama Budo ink to match the rich depth.

Superb quality pens, nice solid weight but balanced in the hand. Very smooth medium width bibs that make writing a joy. They come with a sleeve each in a felt like material & strangely a single leather pouch. Also there are two boxes of five different colour inks included- all in all great value for money
